are the arms un-painted?
it looks rather strange kind of like a prototype figure

Il Cattivo 12-31-2020 11:10 PM

looking at the 2 inch figure, looks like they skipped on painting his upper arm

weird

Looking at those I hope they make Canary and Huntress.

at first look I thought that was Mera because of all the green
it shouldn't be too long until Harley Quinn joins the ranks
a Batwing would also be neat
repainted Robin & Batman ... like they wouldn't do that *eye-roll*

I got Grodd from an online buddy
I didn't realize he was slightly shorter than DCIH Grodd in any case I like Spinmaster Grodd better the other one just looks like a plain gorilla

Spin Master Grodd looks small next to the Mattel Grodd.

Though he does come with some cool accessories which is a common gripe I hear with this line.

Mcfarlane's version is something to look at. Have you seen it? Those 7" toys can work with 3.75" toys too.

Yes I saw it almost pre-ordered it but I only really buy 3.75 scale stuff anymore.

At that time in the animated series, he did.

Was looking for a different listing that Joe Acevedo had found on a facebook group and stumbled across this Walmart listing!

I could say this line has jumped the (King) shark (har har) and gotten stupid, but they're kid's toys, and by all accounts the kiddos are really into this line, so my opinion on a lot of this falls into the "grumpy old fart" category. Still, it feels weird to find there are items in this line I've no interest in buying. I feel the same way about the GI Joe Retro and Classified lines...shit, I think I'm finally growing up!

Have no fear, they'll re-release Lex in a $20 Target-exclusive pack with a turquoise translucent Supes no one wants...and Lex will be pink for some reason.

You are so right 😭

snake5289 01-02-2021 01:28 PM

Ordered IJ2 Darkseid a few days ago and it just got here. Damn is this guy a beast. So bummed they didn't make a Brainiac before moving on.

Yeah, that one. People say it was originally found on Amazon but I can't find it. Might've been taken down

Madame Warlock 01-02-2021 03:51 PM

I really hope they release all the characters in the 2" line up, really want a Huntress.

Pumped to get a Mr. Freeze

Definitely should have been Lex vs Superman. A mech as a construct would also be a good way to bring back Green Lantern.

if he came with a cart with 40 cakes instead of supes, would buy it in a heartbeat.

It's kind of a piece of shit though, I think. It'd be really terrific if his arms went down to his sides and you could swivel the elbows without risking snapping his lower arms off.

snake5289 01-02-2021 07:01 PM

Admittedly I shaved off a bit under his arms but I don't have any problems with his elbows.
