@behindthemask- those figures look great. I would like to see it all together. I only bought Kaneda and the bike when they were new at a video game store years ago.
Your little book is a funny thing to have on the coffee table when friends come over.

Yeh got the book at a lcs, it's great, not much of a library here, but there's lots of odd and interesting books. The Mcfarlane figures are sweet, I wish Kaneda would fit on his bike, but no dice, and the deluxe bot set with him on the bike isn't cheap. Or Hot toys version that is like $600 or more... damn you fancy toys. I don't have a huge fanboy following for much but I loved Akira, the characters, designs and story. I also would like to find both figures/motorcycles from final fantasy, but I always see then $70+. I wish they had more articulation, but that's mcfarlane for ya.

I'll post a group shot later.

One of my local Meijer stores has already pulled their remaining Joes. So I took it upon myself to relieve the other Meijer of every last one on their pegs lmao

Been a little busy lately, but finally have some free time this morning to post my haul(s) ;D

First up is yesterday's haul, which came from Wal-mart and Target. 2 items of note, I tried and tried but I just could not bring myself to spend money on the "too tiny and not hardly articulated" movie lizard. Also, I got to Target just as they were putting out all their Retaliation Joes and I was really frustrated to see that the Zartan I wanted to get not only had single hinge knees, but no ankle articulation as well... :/

On the other hand, the ninja showdown 3 pack and super-poseable spidey are both AMAZING. So you win some and you lose some I guess.... :)

The most advanced Macross Valkyrie in History. Got the last one at regular retail price. That's a hell of a lot cheaper then the ripoff prices on ebay. Some people are selling this thing for 700 dollars, because it's SOLD OUT everywhere. I was Lucky Big in Japan still had one in stock.

Funny you mention it. I just picked up a blue one (got the black yesterday).

Blue is the regular and black is the variant. By me, Targets got the variant cases (2 matching CC's per case) and TRU got the regular. I've only seen CC at one Walmart and it was the blue one.
