For 20 bucks plus shipping, pass! You might as well just buy the single box from BBTS and get more figures.

Collectvintage, where do you live? the Wal-Marts around here have been a MI black hole. as far as I've herd the MI line is only showing up in Target, a few regional grocery stores, and LCS's.

I'm back and forth from California to Canada... I've seen about 5 wasp's in canada haven't been too hard to find. although we get most waves a few weeks later, it's been good stock lately. they retail here $10.99 and LCS stock them for $14.99... I did see MI's for $12.99 in California at the target near my school... which is nuts compared to previous years. not like they come with accessories or stands either

kylactus 05-22-2014 12:32 PM

so my conidian transit friend... how do you feel about "smuggling"? do you ever see any Shockers from the Spiderman series or Leaders from Avengers up there. I'm beginning to feel like I'm collecting in a third world country here!

lol.... never seen any spider-man series figures ever, as i just started under a year ago... however i see that avengers assemble the leader almost every day.... in fact practically every wal-mart up here has 3-5 of the leader and nick fury... i picked both up at target on clearance last month for $2.29 a piece

The Death figure is a waste where a Gamora could have been… #bitter

but other than that I will be dying on the secondary market to get one… unless someone is going to SDCC and wants to be a really cool dude…

So it's the comic pack Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet hand (apparently now translucent), Starfox based on the Quicksilver buck (maybe the head too), Nebula on the new female buck (the small gauntlet should be packed with her), and a prop toy of Death with swappable hand and head. I assume that the Infinity Gauntlet itself is similar to the Hulk hands toys. Neat, not absolutely necessary if you already have the Adam Warlock comic pack. I suppose if you're a big fan of The Infinity Gauntlet you'll like this, or if you're a fan of Starfox (if that's a real thing) or Nebula (possible). I'm not too terribly disgruntled, I prefer that if Gamora see release it not be exclusive so us non convention going folk can get it. Besides she was hardly in The Infinity Gauntlet.

Nymesys Prime 05-22-2014 01:43 PM

wow..i was hoping for 6 in figures...75 bucks for 5 3.75 figures??
gonna hafta think on this set
Thanos looks like the MU Thanos...so does Blastaar

The Blastaar looks nothing like his MU figure (this one is based on his Abnett and Lanning run), and $75 for the 4 4" figures includes the gauntlet toy prop.

Thanos finally has the right coloring and the stripe up the chest.

The Adam Warlock comic pack with Thanos is almost identical to this one, just with no Infinity Gauntlet (Adam got that). Also the comic pack version was a darker blue with more fiery pupils, while this one's are white. All in all same toy, comic pack version is a bit more modern Thanos (Imperative type).
Nymesys: yeah it looks like a Hulk hand toy, but I can't say for sure since I don't have it and the box doesn't say.

I'm skipping entirely. No Gamora is a great thing! That means she can be single carded and mainstream released!

Other than the Lady Death figure, nothing here is interesting to me. Which means I can skip it entirely. =D No aftermarket extreme prices! YAY!

That's the great thing about convention packs. They can cater to the most die hard of fans, and the rest of us can get the figures we really want via the mainstream releases. So this pack is perfect for the convention!

redfox 05-22-2014 02:13 PM

The Infinity Gauntlet will be foam like the Hulk hands.

"...But he's not the only guy who gets one — Marvel's looking out for fans, too, by including a wearable foam Infinity Gauntlet glove in case you want to rule outer space yourself."

Exodus 05-22-2014 02:16 PM

I hope they make plenty of this!

kylactus 05-22-2014 02:16 PM

I think they could have done better at the same level of "obscurity", and I know there pushing GOTG in a round about way but, that said.... where is Alpha Flight? and do they not understand that the 3.75 collector market is not necessarily the same market as the foam smash hand crowd, that is like packing every Hot Toys figure or Bowen statue with a squeaky toy. my personal feelings on it : I collect 3.75" marvel figures, not foam children's cosplay items, don't mix my shit with there's, these two tastes do not taste great together. It's like packing 6" and 3.75" figures in the same set.

Ninjinister 05-22-2014 02:54 PM

Next Spidey we get better be Otto. I can't believe he's already come and gone and we still don't have one of him in this scale.

Actually I wouldn't mind packing 6" and 4" together, similar to the exclusive giant-sized battle packs. 6" Apocalypse and 4" anybody who has been a horseman, 6" Sandman and 4" Spider-Man, etc. that'd be swell. As to the notion of the Infinity Gauntlet toy, technically this is a toy line and while I suppose just some more figures would have been preferred, Hasbro was likely more thinking "let's make a Comic-con exclusive toy" and not "exclusive collectors-only piece". I'm just glad that I have no interest in getting this, money better spent elsewhere, and if people here do want this pack I hope you enjoy it and not let one foam plaything ruin this for you.

kylactus 05-22-2014 04:13 PM

lets just hope there next offering isn't 3.75 Apocalypse, 6" archangel and a Nerf bat!

Andy Carruthers 05-22-2014 04:18 PM

I'm really looking forward to this, the choice isn't spot on but to get death is epic.
