Literally everything the same as Snake Eyes except for double hinged knees (Bats are ball joints so technically have more motion that SE but can't sit on his knees).

I think the only DCIH Bats issue is the size is 3.75" so it is smaller than GI Joe.

I also have that figure, it's terrible haha. It has weird thighs, awful face sculpt. No pivot in the feet, double joints, doesn't have ab joint, some of my Snake Eyes figures wrists not only turn but go up and down...again they haven't made a Batman figure that is as good as a Snake Eyes.

Even if that figure had articulation as the best Snake Eyes figure, it's just a terrible looking figure. The Superman that came in the set has the same articulation but has one of the all time worst head sculpts for Superman. Those thighs just ruin the whole figure too.

Wait the Multiverse figures are already out, like in retail?

With what Mattel offers, prob not. I'm trying to remain optimistic though lol. I just want a good Batman figure in that scale lol.

Shadowninja 12-26-2013 04:30 PM

anyone find the new multiverse toys yet besides target (and I think those were not suppose to be put out)?

itMFtis 12-26-2013 04:38 PM

Can someone please post more pics of these guys (DC Multiverse) to show some articulation? :) I can find very little about these figs aside from stock photos.

redx24 12-26-2013 05:17 PM

Have you received them already? I'm curious what they finally did with GA's neck. Is it flesh colored like his face, dark green like the prototype (matching the vest) or is it unpainted and just left the same green as the hood.Pics of GA and Deathstroke would be greatly appreciated.

thatblockoguy 12-27-2013 08:00 PM

Are we talking mattels 7 pack or the dc collectible 2 pack?

ultraman zoffy 12-28-2013 10:46 PM

So... my DC Multiverse Batman just arrived. Thought I'd give Mattel a chance and see how they did with these figures, but as always, it blows. First off, wtf is up with the images of Batman showing him with an ab crunch joint and a nice, shiny paint job, and this thing in the package looking like one of the DKR movie 3.75's with a few more joints added? These things are basically DCUC 3.75's with no bicep swivel, no ankle articulation, and no ab crunch.
I won't be buying anymore from this line... I hear Batman is the weak link in the series, but really, there is just something wack going on when this:

... shows up looking like this:

The cape is coming straight off this guy and going on a Batman custom on an MU body; rest is going straight to the trash.

That really is terrible, and the fact that they never let it be known that they removed the ab crunch is just shitty on Mattel's part.

I've been holding off on ordering Bane, but I did order Freeze just because I figure the odds of getting another 3.75" Mr. Freeze is slim to none - especially if this line bombs. I hope he turned out alright, still awaiting its arrival.

It's looking more and more likely that I'll just pick up the movie-based series and ignore the rest if the quality doesn't improve drastically.

Riddick 12-29-2013 02:01 AM

The fact they ruined the one figure that SHOULD is the main character and is BATMAN makes you realize Mattel doesn't give a crap or care what they're doing.

These figures not having feet articulation, well that's just piss poor.

Except Batman truly is the weak link in this series. The rest I have so far are pretty good. Azrael is a great figure. Freeze hasn't arrived yet so I am hoping it is as well. Bane is actually very good if you can get over the elbow articulation.

I can agree with all (although I still haven't received mine, Batman blows in this line. I hold out hope the movie version is better. The rest I am digging on big time so far. My other concern (which might be unfounded) is the Deadshot as the pics didn't do him any justice and I was hoping for an old school version.

uberlad 12-29-2013 08:44 PM

I will pick these up because I love the 4 inch scale, and I can fudge it with with the dc 3.75 inch figs, too. MU's first two waves almost all got re-done down the line because they were feeling out the process early on.

Let Mattel work out the kinks on the first movie and video game related waves......just make sure I get quality classic comic figures down the road.

weed619 12-29-2013 10:10 PM

anyone got the target dcpi or scans of the barcodes for these dc multiverse figures

Sometimes it is unfortunate that I have a rule not to collect anything much taller than gi joes. This Mr. Freeze is not meant to be compared to larger versions but I still really like the details from the waist up. The oversized boots are really killing the look for this guy. They would be like size 20 in full scale.
It is great that he can do splits, but the legs cannot rotate forward enough to let the figure sit. Really Mattel?
The overall height is 4"5/8 .
If he could jump out of that suit he would be roughly 4"1/4.
This may be an appropriate scale since this line would sooner compliment Marvel Universe than Star Wars.

A friend ordered this for me by amazon prime so the shipping was free. Without prime, I would suggest waiting for these to arrive in stores .

Il Cattivo 12-30-2013 07:07 PM

when will these guys actually be hitting stores? been checking target almost everyday with no luck.

Got my Freeze today. I was very happy with him for about two seconds, and then the problems became too glaring. I hate the way they enabled his head to move - whatever direction you move his lower body is where his head rotates as well. Problem is, at least on mine, it refuses to look to his right or perfectly straight ahead... the ONLY two directions he can point his gun! Why the hell couldn't they make the top section of his dome pop off?

Not to mention his gun came mangled beyond recognition in the package. I don't mean slightly bent, either - this thing was damn-near turned into a balloon animal and was in no way CLOSE to properly placed in its packaging. Working on it with a hair dryer and some cold water for a long time eventually got it somewhat straightened out, but it was still frustrating.

Those are probably isolated problems, though, so I'm trying not to hold it against Mattel. I just wish his other hand could hold the gun as well (which would have remedied my major beef with this guy) and given him bicep swivels too. As it is, this isn't a great intro to their Multiverse line.

redx24 12-30-2013 11:41 PM

got my slade ga pack today plus found a JLU parademons 2 pack at a discount store which is weird cause last year i found the darkseid kalibak pack at their competition. i think some one in my town updates their collection by turning in their older less "valuable" figs. maybe a seller that couldn't sell it so he trades it in for stuff he can sell. just theories but hey helps me save on shipping i guess.
