Raf, how do you feel about the MK 5 compared to the Revoltech one?

The MK 5 is my favorite armor and I have the Revoltech. Wondering if it's worth the purchase.

Here's my opinion...if it wasn't for the unbalanced feet, the peg on the thigh showing and the difficulty to stand the Revol one up, I'd say stay with the Revol...but, the SHF is so much easy to handle, to stand and it's flawless in appearance. IMO...the SHF tops the Revol for those reasons.

3233rafael 11-06-2017 04:34 PM

Comparison pic I posted earlier...Left of your screen is Revoltech; Right is SHF.

Thanks. Yeah, he's a giant pain to get standing.

Don't know if it's the lighting, but the silver on the figuarts one looks a little gold?

Bo Ttef 11-07-2017 01:10 AM

Great sale! $25 Deadshot showed up today- if it's a KO it's the best quality KO I've ever seen.. box was perfect, packaging, stickers- etc... I still think the MAFEX Deadshot is a better figure overall- but it's size makes it incompatible with my DC Multiverse shelf. Figuarts is the perfect size to get a nice looking Deadshot on the shelf

It's just the lighting, he is silver. I have always said though, the best IM Revols out there are Marks I and V and I stand by that.

Nothing new...waiting on Shenron and Goku Red to ship soon. I did go to Lowe's today and picked up this drainage grate to kinda lift the Hall of Armor Base/Stand that comes with Tony Stark...It was a perfect match!

It's only $5.99. Here's a link...

I really wish SHF would do a Diablo figure. That Multiverse is still a good figure though.

Tomax 11-20-2017 03:50 PM

i agree with you, have a thing for figures with tattoos

Cool! "Ace" from One Piece comes to mind. The "Variable Action" one looks way better than the SHF one IMO. But the variables are in the 8' range though...

yo TresDosTresTres...

Those 2 you just got are REALLY nice.I really like the 'worn/dirty' look of Striker.
do you have a pic of them WITHOUT the box in the background. The extra pic of the figure in back of the figure is throwing me off.

Thanks! Sure I do...

The coolest thing is that they have "hands" underneath all that metal...check out the last pic (Gamma on the right).

@KingRaf since you basically run this thread lol. I have a quick question I don’t have a single Mafex figure are they the same height (Scale) as Figuarts? I am asking because I am getting the Figuarts JL Flash since he looks better then the mafex one But was looking to get Superman and Wonder Woman from mafex since they look better then what Figuarts is offering. So I wanted to know before I bought them if they are indeed in scale with one another.

Lol...So, Mafex tends to be a bit taller than Figuarts (not as much as it was originally though but, if you're very picky then it will bother you).

Comparison pics...Superman in the middle (BvS Suit) and Wonder Woman are Mafex...everyone else is Figuarts.

Thanks a lot man. Especially for taking the time to take pics for me. Yeah the Height issue isn’t as bad as I thought it would be so it really doesn’t bother me. So I am probably going Mix and match Figuarts and Mafex. But damn Figuarts Likenesses are on point
