I have seen 2 Kravens in person now and could not buy either because of his beard paint job. I will have a not crooked beard before I buy him.

Ugh, I went to my comic store RIGHT at 8am, and Misty was already gone. I was so bummed! i was able to score a Valkyrie though! 1/3 Fearless Defenders!

This makes me even more mad we don't have that Moonstar now. Not only are we missing a key NM, we don't have the core FD!

Honestly, Moonstar on that old Elektra body standing next to Valkyrie and Misty would probably look really bad anyways. Get an Ultron Wave Wasp, paint her yellow down the middle, find a head that will pass as Dani and call it a day... =)

True, but the head is the problem, to me, because of the skin tone. I would like to use pigtails and for that we only have Valkyrie, but she did have other looks (my favorite look from her in the Zeb Wells NM series did not have pigtails.) I'm probably going to repaint Valkyrie head #1 and use it on Hope Summers body I had already painted for NM Magik but I'm skeptical how this will look.

so far i have opened 2 of the figures. kraven is cool paint to me looks excellent on mine, chameleon looks good as well, however he seems like he just won't stand on his own... i know i know i've said before with my Scavage predator too, but this guy just won't stand. hmmm

Valkyrie head might be too big for the Hope body, but worth a shot... let us know how it works out! =)

Edit: Actually, I have both Wasp and Valkyrie on my desk right now, and just swapped Valkyrie's head onto Wasp's body (which uses the same upper torso as the old Elektra/Hope bodies). Yeah, Valkyrie's head is too big proportionately. I'd say a Valkyrie hair swap onto a smaller head would probably be your best bet for Moonstar, but you'd still need to mod the hair so that it doesn't look ginormous.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see what I can do. Obviously I want to use that Hope figure since I already painted it - just need to paint over the silver arm Magik had. It may be a little while - I've got a long list of customs to work on but I think I have all the parts in now so it'll be a fall project.

Hey! Any Floridians know if the Rhino Wave has hit Florida yet? I've had trouble tracking them down. The only thing they have at my Wal-Mart are some Allfather wave Legends and 3 Ultron Wave Wasps lol

I know someone selling a white Iron Fist for cheap, and I was gonna wait and buy him if a green one ever surfaced. Does anyone who has the Iron Fist figure, is the head on a similar peg as the WS or AoU Cap? I think I'd wanna do a head swap if I pick him up.

Man, I ended up getting the whole wave from HTS and dropping my Dorkside BAF preorder because they're lagging so hard. Great site, but for some reason they're really having problems getting that wave in.

When the hulkbuster wave first came out, they were one of the firsts to start offering it. now for some reason all their legends waves are still waiting out of stock...

Been dying to do this mod since I got Valkyrie, but I had to find time to go to and dig through the storage unit where my collection is to get it done... swapped the lower legs from one of my spare Target 3-pack Ms. Marvels onto Valkyrie to bring her a little more into scale with everyone else, and I'm digging her a lot more now. Her arms especially look much better proportionately with the shorter overall legs. This mod will also obviously work well with Thundra, and helps to differentiate these 2 characters from red She-Hulk who I feel should be slightly taller than them.
