God, really? So dispite all the talk and begging, it's the same old matty then? And I've just read about the new figures being black plastic with paint on top. Times like this I'm glad I'm not a subscriber

Fwoosh showed a pic of Dragon Blaster Skeletor and he's def painted over black plastic. I'm way pissed about the sub I bought for '13. I keep mine MOC so it shouldn't affect me unless they come with scratches and chips. But still, I don't want some cheap BS. Apparently they called it a design choice and not a budget choice. But either way you slice it, it's a budget choice. Piss, moan, and cry about the line dying & needing to raise prices because of cost, yet turn around and lower your costs on top of the increase. I'm glad MOTUC is the only product I get from Mattel. After this line is over. They'll never see a dime from me again.

MOC isn't 100% safe in MOTUC. When I got battlecat (ordered 2 months ago) there were red smudges inside the window (and on battlecat's neck) so they're not even letting the paint dry before they shove it in the package. Like DHeezy81 said, what reason, other than money saving, would making all the body molds black with paint on top?

My theory is that Mattel is so far behind on production of the figures that they decided to just mold multiple parts in black plastic so that they can quickly paint them and assemble the full bodies as quick as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the factory has a giant bin full of black color shoulders.

I dunno why they're available already. But I just snagged a DB Skeletor($20) & Snake Men 2pk($40). Mek & Zodak weren't avail yet. But I'll get them come Monday. Not sure why those 2 are avail early & at a discount. With the discount and separate shipping it works out to nearly the same price as if I got them all in one shipment. This way I just get 2 sooner lol.

Mine still says coming soon... Did you do this to make me typer 349874928742938 words per minute? Because it worked....it worked...

My page shows them as coming soon and has the two I mentioned on sale for those prices. My sub doesn't start til '13. So maybe they fucked up lol. I'm not complaining tho, I got my order confirmation email.

Ohhh its the early access thing... Well I can probably say byebye to the snake men pack. But maybe not as I see another Icon with Snake Men saying "coming soon".

I guess, dunno why I don't get early access to Mek or Zodak. I thought it was part of the '13 sub. I don't have a sub for '12. So I dunno why I'd get early access already.. My only beef is not having the access to the other 2 figs I want!

Well I ordered my Snake Men pack and have not received a email stating I am either getting a refund or Snake Men so.... heres hoping.

Bastards sent me an email late last night saying my order was canceled.. Oh well, I'll get'em Monday.

Got my canceled order notice and I was like fiiine what ever. But yes I will order them again on monday and then be very impatient to see them get here.
About the black plastic with the paint on top. As long as the paint stays on I am happy. I think the MOTU figures are pretty awesome.
