Sorry but I'm pretty positive it's sold by now since this was still in January and like I said he's a regular seller there. If by some crazy miracle though it's still there the next time I go then I'll keep you in mind but I wouldn't bet on it.

Like that deathstroke and nightwing. Is the hips marvel legend like hip joints? I mean like the ball style joints?

Yes, a little bigger ball style than ML but yes.

warmachine6 02-16-2016 04:27 PM

is Death stroke a bit short ?? hell even the arkham knight is a bit tall
compared to night wing. I've Played the game but i thought at least death stroke was same height as bats

Il Cattivo 02-16-2016 04:31 PM

why does nightwing look sad?

I was wondering the same thing when i saw the photo i took...That Deathstroke is from AO...don't know if that make a difference but I doubt it.

I prefer the Arkham City Nightwing DC Direct put out a lot more, haha. I wish they'd take another crack at the Arkham City Batman though, the first one they made has lousy articulation and the second one looked like a gangly marionette!

I started collecting all the Arkham Series Batman figs loose, then I stopped. I do have them all MOC though.

There's that gangly bastard, haha. I don't get why he needs all those torso joints :D

Dr Kain 02-18-2016 09:20 AM

QUestion, how are the BTAS figures? Are they as solid in quality as the Icons line? How much articulation do they have?

I don't have any icons but I guess I'd rank the animated line's quality as "surprisingly good." It's mainly a surprise because the first four did little beyond look nice and come with a bunch of accessories but immediately after like with the Joker group I could actually imagine a kid possibly playing with them. Obviously paint apps will still vary from figure to figure such as Bane's eyes being tiny little black dots making it hard to find one where they're properly lined up, I have yet to see a Croc that didn't have ugly paint smudging all over his face because he has all those lines, and Bat-symbols might have color bleed, etc.
The articulation is actually really nice. Ball-joint necks (some figures experience limitations that reduce this to a swivel), ball-hinged shoulders and elbows, swivel or swivel-hinge wrists, swivel waists, bigger figures have a torso hinge, H-hips, hinged knees, sometimes a calf swivel, and either swivel, hinge, or rocker ankles. You can get some of them, depending on the character, into some pretty good action poses and their stands help keep them up.

I haven't taken out my Battle Damaged Batman but he looks cool. Box has slight rip which makes me crazy when I spot it. I may just remove him because of that LOL
Got him in a trade for a McFarlane Evil Ash.

I tried finding Red Hood when he came out but I think GS employees/and or scalpers nabbed them all up. Not a single store around me had him ever.

En Sabah Nerd 02-19-2016 04:39 PM

I only saw the Gamestop Red Hood once in store and somebody was already buying it, thankfully I didn't want it. The battle damaged Batman doesn't seem to be selling nearly as well, probably because it's just a minor repaint.

If you found it (Red Hood) at a GS store, you were very lucky...I remember checking about 5 different stores and NADA. It occurred to me to check GS online web page and there it was! I should've gotten more, if I only would've known how rare it was going to be.

PlayTime 02-19-2016 05:06 PM

See, by the time I went online after looking at stores thinking gamers weren't really going to be looking for this guy, online was sold out.

Zorn88 02-19-2016 07:07 PM

That's rough. I was able to get one online at GS when they were doing free shipping. Got lucky apparently.

But yeah, it's crazy how much Red Hood and Mr. Freeze go for now...

Mr Freeze's initial price was atrociously bad, he was like as much as the Arkham Asylum Killer Croc (around $45 msrp) but hardly any bigger than the average figure in the line. What makes it worse is that then in the Arkham Origins line Killer Croc was slightly bigger than the Asylum version which made him much bigger than Freeze and he was only $25.

Yeah, they were on drugs with their price points haha.

I was able to get Freeze from BBTS on clearance for like 30 bucks or something. I definitely wasn't going to spend the full price on that guy, because like you said, he isn't much bigger than a normal figure.
