oh yeah, the air force gave out gear like candy, seriously I could fill a surplus store with all the all up packs, web gear, boots, coats, armor, jackets, repelling gear, field kits, med kits, and MRE's I, uh..."acquired". plus a decent armory and a solid concrete sealed safe room with steel door (also the room I keep my collection in). it's going to be a long apocalypse between demons, zombies, asteroids, and keeping my kids from opening my toys I'm going to loose it.

That's the good side of going federal, you get what you need to get the job done. I get so much practice ammo, it's crazy but I do practice a lot. At least twice a week, indoor and outdoor ranges. If I'm not at the range, I'm at my LCS looking for toys...lol

I do like to keep one of these around for those "close" encounters...

It might not have the range of all the fancy pew pews...but it allows you to dispatch a walker quietly and move onto the next area. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. Don't want them being drawn towards the sound after all...right?
