the two mechs are chained to the side of the PIT next to a yellow crane from the retail release Helicarrier, and the dropship rides on top of pit, soon will add a trailer from ERTL painted to match PIT and a GI JOE Wolverine will ride on it in tow behind PIT. LOADED and I mean LOADES with all sorts of yellow missles and guns and even a killer HYDRA flag. The tank teacks added about 3 inches and the Drop Ship on top maybe another foot higher. So the WHOLE honking vehicle is a little past an average mans knee....
also Have 22 TROOPERS, want 30 (50 really but one goal at a time)

Some I don't have yet, just a few. Some of the customs the pics are as close as I could get to the recipe I used. The pics above some are MUCH better our customs, but ours are actually better than the pics. I added a link to EACH one for those that are unaware of a particular figure.

AIM =done (used an old clean sweep NOT the JOE CON one)
Skrulls =done by Halloween
Chitauri =need 2 more cosmic chariots
SHIELD =done, but Coulson head ordered
HYDRA =done except for TROOPERS and have to wait until Xmas for the MARAUDER figures

these are our real and honest numbers that my son and I have collected. Not always easy on a strict £40 a month toy budget. It has gone over slighty a few times, but dont tell mama bear!! ;)

These armies WOULD NOT have been possible without the help of fellow collectors. I trade for artwork, and get some in 4 figures for $20 deals. And fellow arkers are ALWAYS looking out for me and when they see a deal they alert me. Like troopers from China bay for £6 shipped. Some figures were even gifted to us by WONDERFUL people!! We were even GIVEN the SDCC Super Hellicarier unopened for free this past Christmas!!! For all those out there, you are too many to list.... my son and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!!!

the new one isn't lame, she just doesn't look like a tramp. I want classic Gamora or the new one, or maybe the costume she seems to be wearing on the cartoons. That one outfit in Avengers Alliance is terrible, she would be chaffing like crazy AND the cape/hood would be a nightmare.

just think how dope she would be in the classic outfit with Thanos, Warlock, Nebula and co.

Gamora's marvel-now costume looks like a scrapped idea from Mass Effect, also (this might just be me) but when characters like Gamora and Hulk start wearing armor it makes them seem so much weaker. Yeah her original two costumes are technically both impractical, so is almost every original super hero costume. I also like how they made her look in Lego Marvel, a hybrid of costume 1 and 2, personal favorite is the Abnett and Lanning run costume, really because those were some of her best comics (Annihilation, A: Conquest, GotG, Nova, Thanos Imperative). So I also kinda like her movie design for again bringing elements of both original costumes, but more practical.

dismantled my current street dio setup, and I wanted to photograph my permanent display while everyone is in one place. In the front center on the top shelf I only have 4 spaces left for figures until the new MI have to creep out onto my foamcore risers.

I agree Serious Lee, Gamora's appearance in Guardians #23 and #24 would make a nice choice for a figure. It is just her standard costume zipped up, you can even see the zipper, but this creates a less risque more practical looking costume. Well, more practical than what she usually wears.

^ That costume will also correlate to the red/blue color scheme from the Guardians team-pack.

While this Star-lord is my favorite costume, I was hoping the new MI might be a different version. They could have done his very original, his marvel-now armor, or how the comics are having him match his film appearance which is itself very inspired by his full masked uniform style.

Is the MI figures in all stores? The MU line I only see at TRU unless target and Walmart stopped carrying them

they MAY do some sort of movie re-paint for wave 4.... I doubt it, but maybe. I just dont see RR selling solo.

@xMostWanted559x..... MI are near impossible to find in store in the states, i am told. Either your area has them....or they dont. The stores are BOGGED down with movie figures from Thor 1, Thor 2 those crappy Iron Man 3 assemblers. The big guys are scared to stock what they see as just another superhero line.

The days of walking in anywhere and picking any figure are coming to an end I am afraid. It has been like that here always. Thank God for the inter web. Some places are lucky enough... maybe by Christams things will come around.

It would take massive balls for Rocket and Groot to be repacks. Rocket is a statue. He is smaller than Puck and can't move.

They had to done SOMETHING to justify that. I would hope. This MI stuff has been solid waves, that fourth wave right now looks wisely planned with miserable execution. I mean, you can't argue releasing the Guardians but three repacks of figures in clearance stores, one of which can't move at all? Beyond lazy. I still refuse to believe they have done that..man, let me please be right.

Bmorr has been 100 percent accurate with all of his predictions for every wave! I was trying to think what other outfits could they even do besides the blue with red or movie? I dont think the movie would even work on that buck. Drax and RR could be the same and more or less look the movie part. They MAY pack in a new Groot type thing, but i doubt it with RR.

I fear also, we MAY have seen the last of movie figures.... MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE, with a BIG release like Avengers 2, but maybe not since it would just be the same heroes and MAYBE a cheap articulated Ultron.

I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to just repack the team pack Rocket with planter-pot Groot and ask for $10 (or whatever regular price is), does that suck, yeah like a lot, but that sounds about right for Hasbro.

If movie figure quality continues the way it is, i hope they disappear.

Totally agree. I am happy with Avengers articulation, I know its a step back from MU and earlier film figures but seriously the 5 POA figures are a travesty. I would be happier too if they stopped making movie figures. I think Spiderman 2 figures are technically more than 5 POA, but no knees no elbow joints kinda kill it for a comic book character.

I think that even if a figure has five ball joints, if they only have five it's still 5 POA. Better than five swivels, but still only five.

I just don't get (other than "money issues) why Hasbro would up articulation, improve sculpts, look and playability in the MU line, essentially set the new standard for 3.75" figures... and then shit the bed, and take a big back step into pre 1980's level design! Is it all a tease?!? you cant give us steak, take it away and expect us to eat tripe!

you were fed genectically engineered steak... that's why they are able to do that..it was all a mirage!

It's a balancing issue.
The MU standard will come back. It's a matter of cutting back now to come back around later with the good again.

The thing with Marvel movies in particular is that there's only so many times you can come out with the same characters over and over again. So with GOTG for example, the focus this time is more on the ships because of it being an untested property. If the movie proves successful, the sequel will then get a better toyline more in line to what we expect from them.

The same can be said of other properties that'll come back around again later. Like with how close Ant-man is to Avengers: AOU, they might be able to get his figure into there.

My question though is more towards how are they going to get Strange, Ant-man, Deathlok, and other side characters like that into the movie-verse standard lines. Strange and Ant-man aren't properties that could singularly hold their own lines unless they dabble into the comic figures arena with them. Even then, it'll have to be expanded more so with side stuff like Satana, Sons of Midnight, etc.

They've gotta find a way to balance the releases though overall to get product out that sells, but also still leave room for product later to sell too. It's a matter of finding the best path to continuously make money, but also cut corners where needed and able to. This allows them to push the figure budget better for the future endeavors without having to repack the same figures over and over and over again.

So around AOU, we should see the return of the MU standard in the movie lines. After that, we should start seeing even more better implementations of the lines all around. This right now is just a recuperative lull on our wallets with all the other great things coming out from them via Transformers and their other brands. When that settles, we'll see the Marvel side rev right back up. Especially once we find out if GOTG is as profitable as Marvel hopes it will be.
