Captain Marvel and the new movie Black Adam figure.

I also snagged a Batman, Catwoman, &Penguin on clearance.
They sold out of Batmobiles. :(

Has anyone taken apart The Batman 4" Catwoman? I want to use her limbs for another torso so I was planning to use some hot water to get her limbs off. I need a barbell for her legs but I can't tell if it's molded to the torso. Does anyone know for sure?

I haven't attempted to take apart any Spin Master figures yet that I can think of... she's pretty easy to find on Clearance, maybe buy extras and experiment? Lol

Some more customs and 3D printing for anyone who's interested... all 3D prints I post were found on cults3d.com, and all were freebies. I had to scale things down to fit 1:18 though.

1. 3D print of Flash's Cosmic Treadmill! I had to downsize it since it was intended for McFarlane 7" figures, but it printed very well.
   
2. A figure I printed a little while ago, he was tricky. Kinda-sorta reminded me of Black Flash, so that's how I decided to paint him.
   
3. Straight up custom of Freddy Freeman Shazam the way he appears in the comics. I cut out white spandex and painted the border of his cape. And I actually 3D printed lion medallion cape clasps, but they're so tiny you can't see the detail. Oh well.
   
4. Poison Ivy! I can't wait on the toy makers to get around to releasing her. I went with a super simple approach, using her colors from BTAS. The ivy is from the old Uma Thurman movie figure.
   
5. Joker's gas bomb 3D print.
   
6. And I love the last one. More of Dollar Tree's Final Faction line, I painted Sergeant Steel and his separate accessory pack to make an original Multiverse/Elseworlds Blue Beetle. He's Ted Garrett. Or Dan Kord? Lol

So far the Spin Master figures I have dissected have not had the barbell molded to the torso, they were separate pieces.

Also heads-up, the torsos have been a huge pain to pry open. Hopefully Catwoman is easier since she is smaller.

The barbell is not molded to the torso. The hot water will help you remove the legs but the arms will require cracking the torso.

Finally saw the superpowers retro figures start trickling in at Walmart. All they had was Batman though.

Cool! Red Hood, Grundy and Batgirl are instant buy! Also I can see Grundy used for a few customs...

Never was a fan of that Batgirl design, but it is cool. I might snag the Hood, but the rest are cool but I have other 1:18 I like better.

Yeah if I ever can find any of these figures those'll be the three I want. I've had enough of uninteresting Batman, Joker, and Robin variants. I gotta keep a visual checklist just to make sure I don't already have any that I do come across of those!

Yeah $40 for 5 figures and a throne isn't shabby at all, and it certainly beats trying to track 'em all down.

EDIT: So I bit on that despite being low on funds because it was too good to pass up. Unless you want the accessories (it only comes with Carter's wings and Adam's exclusive throne), this is your best bet. Laughed out loud though when I read that Atom Smasher is instead called "Adam Smashe" on the box :D

What other figures are in that line? An Adam variant?

Yeah crikey, I wasn't expecting a figure line of that until I knew Black Adam was getting one. That would have been cool. I guess either they'll integrate the line or toss it out if there was to be one.

I can't believe they canned a completely finished movie because the budget was lower than a threshold. What sort of bonkers logic is that?? Somebody better leak that shit.

The directors said it was "far from finished", probably because there was talk of reshoots. But what a tremendous disappointment for fans and for everyone who worked on the film :( . I've hung in there hoping for good things from DC for *decades*. I liked what David Zaslav had to say about a 10-year plan for DC. And he actually knows that WB owns Superman! Wow! Maybe they'll finally do something big with the best comic book character of all time (yeah, I'm biased)?

Also, I was hoping there would be a $10 Atom Smasher in the 12" line from Spin Master... and there is! He'll look great with the 4" team.

Huh, literally everything I've seen since the announcement said all it needed was marketing.

That's good, I wouldn't be able to afford McFarlane's version. And hey, they got his name right on this one! :p

So I grabbed the Amazon 5 pack and found a flaw.with the design enhanced the one accessory it comes with. The way black Adam's legs are jointed he can't move his legs straight out. They gave him a throne and he cant sit down. Thats why they have him hovering above it o. The packaging

I watched a YouTube video review of the Hawk Cruiser, and the guy pointed out the fact that Black Adam can’t sit down. Wow.

That hawk cruiser looks way too small too, unless you want the the rock and hawk man laying down together.... not that there’s anything wrong with that
