Boss Fight Updates Vintruvian H.A.C.K.S. Release Timeline - The Toyark - News
Kind of a bummer for sure. But I'm sure most people would rather issues be worked out to ensure better quality of the final releases. |
I have a small fortune worth incoming, and if they don't show until 2016 and have no issues then I'll be just fine.
with MTF, H.A.C.K.S, eagle force, and anything else they may have waiting in the wings, bossfight is my new go to toy company. It's worth the wait. worth the weight. also, the tartarus guard?, spectacular. |

So... when is everyone suppose to be getting these figures?
|
|
Those look spectacular, shame as a Kickstarter supporter I will not be able to get this pack as I don't go to the conventions.

Rejoice 3.75" (4" really, but they'll work together) scale collectors! These things are AMAZING! Even as a 6" scale enthusiast, I'm very envious of this entry into the 3.75" toy universe!
Maybe they will make a 6" scale...I would happily make it my first ALL-IN kickstarter campaign. Even Four Horsemen Design hasn't gotten me to do that (I would've with Gothitroplolis, but I missed it due to not becoming aware until too late), but I'd sign up in heartbeat to get some 6" versions of these incredible figures! Bravo Boss Fight!!! |
Underworld Warrior is still on the top of the want list. All of them look impressive. So long as they get close to this in paint at production scale, I'm a happy camper.
|
The paints do carry them a long way...but it's the compelling sculpts that impress me the most! Really good stuff...maybe these 'small' crowd-funded figure campaigns are the future for action figures as some 'Arkers have suggested.

they look great and seem to care enough not to let subpar paint work ruin their fantastic scuplts. |
the 6" market is whole different beast. They have worked mostly in MU and GI JOE lines. That said, if anyone could then it would be them. Besides, 6" is getting plenty of love right now..... Hasbro has put the 3.75" collector into the closet. These have broiught the mother scale back into the light! Imagine the vehicles, horses and dioramas in 1/18 scale some will customize for these that wouldn't be easily available in a larger scale.
Articulaion woes.... no thigh swivel limits warrior poses. Lack of a rocker ankle makes dynamic posing more difficult. A slight bit static below the hips. A bicep swivel as opposed to an elbow swivel would have worked better for bare armed figuers. Those are the only three cons against them. And, to be honest they aren't really against them too much. That aside...these are as close to perfect as i have EVER seen!! The pros are numerous and the cons are few. Lets hope the paint apps remain true through production, i am sure they will be checking quality control VERY carefully! These look ace and truely proper in all ways. That skeleton alone is worth its weight in 1/18 gold! No as to when we can buy them off thier site..... |
Can't wait for these. I'm going to buying many of the blanks when they become available.
|
I want several blanks as well!!
They are good to display just as blanks in varied colours..... that would look ace all in row! |
|
The more I see of these figs, the more impressed I become. Some of the featured paint apps are nuts, especially on the translucent figs. If a 6" line kickstarter is made, I'll be there...at 3.75", I'll just tip my cap to enthusiasts of the scale in acknowledgement that they have won a fine, fine line of figures.

Boss Fight update from NJCC 2015!
NJCC Summer 2015 Round Up - Shots from the Show - The Toyark - News http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...s-Fight-23.jpg Full Boss Fight set of pics over at HissTank: NJCC Round Up - Boss Fight Studio - HissTank.com |
Boss Fight knocks it out yet again!!!!!! There is a light of hope that still believes in 3.75" figures!
On a side note, I am a huge fan of designer art toys. I don't actually own any, but I am a fan! Really dig the black velvet ELVIS HISS tank! |

i might get these is 6 inches ,awesome detail if for 3.75 inch which seems likely but you never know |
I saw these in person at the show yesterday...
for them to be non-licensed characters\ip's... i was EXTREMELY impressed and talked with one of the guys there for about 10 minutes.. would HAVE to add some of these to my collection... one odd thing..they guy stated that they wouldn't be released in waves(he specifically told me that)..he actually said they'd just all be on the website when they were available.. doesn't seem too practical.. these things are sick though.... they were right next to the line that looked like customizable GI joes..i know some of you Joe-Nerds would go crazy for those..they were nice too.. |
