Getting back to the new pics, I might just spring for that 4-pack instead of the single packs (depending on price and availability). Still not sure I want to even get into buying NT movie toys.

I've pretty much decided on getting Raph. Think I may give him a belt and do away with the loincloth thing though.

That's what I'm leaning toward too. It's a decent way to display them if I don't decide to open 'em up, and I could always slide them back into the box if I do open them up but decide to put them away again.

We don't know yet. The only exclusive mentioned in the news article is the Van with Leo, which will be available only at Target.

I'm not sure if it's only at Target, but that's where people have been finding it.

Thinking I'll just stay home and watch the original Movie and try to pretend this one and it's ugly toys don't exist.

Nice find ^ My Walmart has been gradually taking away toy space in favor of food/groceries. So I have to drive further away to check Target and TRU.

I've seen the turtles in person, on display at Walmart. They actually look pretty good given the limitations of their shitty new designs for the movie.

The main 4 turtle figures are undersized. If we assume the Foot Soldier represents a typical 6-foot-tall man, then the turtles are definitely too small. They should be at least as tall as the Foot Soldier, if not taller. You can see how enormous they are in the new movie. Because of this strange inaccuracy in the toys, it actually means they're the perfect size for 3.75" GI Joe and Marvel Universe figures.

That said, I might buy Raph and Leo; slap Leo's head onto Raph's body, repaint the bandanna purple, repaint the skin a uniform color, and make a little bo out of a real bamboo chopstick from a Chinese restaurant.

I actually had seen the display last night at WM but I wasn't planning on getting them, I didn't look through every hole but they seemed to only have the 4 turtles and Shredder.

If you dont have them you should keep searching for them i opened them and i felt the difference its like PMTs did not make them so good and heavy. Shredders is a little bigger then Shredder #2 :D

Picked up Raph at Wal-Mart during lunch today. Pretty nice figure. Little less articulation than the toon versions (could use some wrist swivels) but I dig it. May go back for Mickey later in the week.

Gave him a belt though. Wasn't really a fan of the loincloth thing and makes him look a little more classic I guess.
