I could be mistaken, but to me it does appear to be a removable piece. Just looks like you need to pop the head off to slide the hood off of the neck.

Edit: Did they just mention that Venom will have a second head? or am I just not seeing the picture of it?

SDCC 2015 - Official Marvel Legends Photos from Hasbro - The Toyark - News

Whole lot of nothing here

Third, fourth and fifth rate characters followed by even more of the same already released figures.

Not surprised

So how do I vote for Darkhawk??

Nope. The Q&A addressed it:

For Onslaught, this is the Build-A-Figure for Hasbro Civil War wave next year. The figure is almost as tall as the recent Hulkbuster Build-A-Figure. There will NOT be an alternate classic Magneto type head due to Hasbro not being allowed by Marvel to cross brand. In other words Magneto falls under the X-Men header and since this wave if figures are for Civil War they can't include any type of X-Men character in it.

Oh well.

jedicrippler 07-11-2015 07:57 PM

Hmm....looks like a second round of the Thor/Odin wave going on with the Absorbing Man wave. I see a wood right arm & a metal right arm in those pics. Nice touch.

The it looks like there is a removable piece on the Gwen head that slides over the neck...similar to the way the Astonishing Wolverine and Face Off Cap had back in the Toy Biz days.

They did mention the Venom head during the panel at some point, but I don't think there was a slide for it. It'll probably be revealed at some point like the Gwen head was with someone sliding it into the case.

If I remember reading correctly, only attendees at SDCC can vote for the said characters, which is unfortunate, because while there are a lot of comic fans obviously at SDCC, there will be a lot of casuals there who will have no idea who Angela and Darkhawk is, and will simply vote for Symbiote Spidey outright on name recognition alone.

At least Cosmo didn't make the cut thus far. I would cringe at Hasbro knowing they can get away with more tiny, little to non articulated figures at full price.

It's not robot armor, it's a newly manifested body built from psionic energies made to resemble the original (and much more powerful) Onslaught since both were created under similar circumstances.

Comic con attendants only voted for the characters that would be in the semi-finals. The characters from each poll will then be put in an online poll for the overall chance of becoming a Marvel Legend. I believe it was said the online poll will last a week and be on Marvel's website.

Oh Cool...I'll be sure to spam anything but Symbiote Spidey....although if she makes it...Angela is who I'm voting for. She'd make a great in my little Spawn collection, since that one would be actually poseable!

Exactly what I was thinking.

There looks to be a photo of it with the official photos. I can't zoom-in on it, but it just appears to be pretty much the same headzculpt but with an open mout and... something coming out of it. I would say that it's his tongue, but it looks green...

Joe Moore 07-11-2015 09:34 PM

Yes, the second Venom head is open mouth, slimy green tongue sticking out.

:mad:Seriously?!? Come on Marvel ...
Well, lol, I'm going to need to find a good customizer to sculpt a cool, stylized Magneto helmet to replace Red Skull's head.

CMIII 07-12-2015 02:53 AM

I just really want a super awesome Gwendy.

Yeah I read that. I suppose it understandable. all that legal and marketing matters. well they may make a fully assemble Onslaught as a Exclusive.

No regular arms and head?

Damn, I'd want an unabsorbed Absorbing Man to display once in awhile. :(

Primacron 07-12-2015 07:10 AM

I've always passed on alternate versions of Spider-Man but for some reason I need the armoured Spider-Man.

3.75″ Figures for 2016 being talked about and shown now.
Crowd not pleased about this.
Anyone know if it's because the new 3.75" molds have less articulation, or because they're talking about 3.75" and not even more 6" Legends?

boombatty 07-12-2015 08:57 AM

I wish they would make each figure at both MU and Legends scale and just keep the world a happy place...
I am very envious of the Legends offerings right now as I am 3.75"-4" collector. I look back and know for a while the larger figure collectors had it bad so this is karmic but I still wish we could get parity so I could just add Hasbro to my bank account already.

teddyboy09 07-12-2015 09:21 AM

3.75" collector here as well! i shifted over from Legends back then and never want to go back to it full-time, but i love how Hasbro gives so much love to that line. i wish some of that love would trickle down into the Universe/"Infinite" line lol

it's so cool that we're getting the armored Spidey, that there is a must-have. hopefully i donmt have to wait any longer for them to make a Spider Gwen for MU.

warmachine6 07-12-2015 09:40 AM

so now i have to wait till toyfair or anyhting before that for ML x-men news , glad though hasbro does have the rights

NeilJam 07-12-2015 11:28 AM

Why am I seeing pictures of 3 3/4" figures with the Legends logo? Are they re-branding the line again?

I wouldn't count on it. I honestly don't expect them to do any more.

Startaiger 07-12-2015 01:19 PM

Of all the new reveals, Mockingbird is the only one I'm interested in. The female Beetle looks good but I never knew she existed b4...
I know the Capwolf head is just a bonus to the figure, but the storyline was sooooooooo lame, it was that made me drop the title at the time. Is there really someone out there claiming for a figure of a werewolf Captain America?!?
