I like the way they tied in a Lasershot Predator reference, hopefully it's a tease that he's coming down the line in the next Kenner homage wave or maybe another deluxe release like the upcoming Clan Leader.

Sounds like the Marine/Predator-style armour version of the Marine/Alien-style armour character Atax. And this is where that quote came from; make sure you read it, I don't think the Kenner Predator re-dos will be ending any time soon if R'Zor IS actually being used as inspiration.

Cool that they made Stalker the first predator that doesn't really hunt for sport and they tossed in an explanation for the glow in the dark gimmick. This does not explain how he got an alien head for his armor, did he trade for it?

Well, there were those blind white Xenos in Colonial Marines that lived in dark places and walked around like T Rexes, exploding when you got too close. Perhaps his clan created/captured them for sport and maybe he killed a couple of those?...

Why would they need to glow for location purposes when Yautjas see in thermal? Erm....

Doesn't explain the human skulls on his armor either. Smh.

That bio stinks, but truthfully, I probably could not do any better myself...lol. I would have made him a solitary cave dweller who glows as an intimidation or distraction tactic to lure in prey in the dark, like an Angler fish. But that's why they call us nerds I guess....*shrugs shoulders...

I'd have figured he was gonna have a bio where he got exposed to freakish amounts of radiation and became a glowing freak. Like those ghouls in Fallout that glow, y'know, the "glowing ones."

Gotta say, at first read it seems a remarkably specific bio that still doesn't make much sense. Though the artwork is good at least.

Wait, are the Preds cold-blooded?

I've always assumed that they were warm blooded creatures, due to their humanoid nature. Although they tend to hunt in hot and humid zones, they seem to navigate the tundra just as easily (like in AVP) Which would definitely not be ideal for them if they were cold blooded.

The AvP cardbacks said they were almost unique in being from a mountainous region, and use thermal netting, but then who knows where canon lies at this point...

Due to the glowing green blood, I'd say they're probably neither, at leas not in the sence we understand. Heck the blood looks more like phosphorus laden chloraphil than traditional blood... Maybe preds are evolved from plants?

The answer to these questions is that there is no answer. There's no telling what writers take into account when they make new comics and movies for this series. Personally, half the fun (for me) is to make up your own story.

I am really bothered by Stalker's weapons though.1 extended and 2 retracted spears seem pretty basic.I mean come on NECA could have given us new weapons we have yet to see on a predator,since this one is from a different kind of clan and subspecies than usual

To be fair though, the reason for that was because the Kenner figure for Stalker relied heavily on Spears. In fact, he came with three of them, as well as a spring loaded bazooka cannon to fire them.
