By the way, I assumed the dome on Gorilla is removable but is it really? Or did they just do that on the pictures to showcase the skull underneath? And how transparent is the dome? I would prefer it to be really dark but it looks almost glass-like on the display pics. Or is that the case because it's blasted with light?

Anyways, I love Gorilla and Mantis, I need both. And if my retailer puts up the whole wave for a reasonable price I'll buy the Queen Facehugger too.

Are we likely to see any more Predator updates?

Love Elder, but it's hard to get excited about the Ultimates and everything else has been shown before, really.

Same with Terminator. The Aliens display is the only one that was truly exciting for me tbh.

SDCC reveals are done now, more during the year
Still working on retail Newt (I need this)
Chance of Kenner Aliens marines (these too if skilful as Xenos)
Maybe October for Elder Predator
Chance of Kenner eggs next year (loved these!)
Apollo sample didn't arrive on time
If you want those colourful Xenos let them know!
'You never know' to Batman Vs. Predator (!)
Like a lot of people, I didn't realise YoungBlood was on show

Gonna tweet them support for ALL the prototypes on display now. If you can and want these figures, I'd do the same.

Both are sculpted perfectly, the translucent green and the claws of Mantis are awesome, and Gorilla... wow. The removable dome is a really cool touch.

I also love that NECA goes the extra nostalgia mile again by including the mini-comics like they did with the AvP two-pack.

I'm not a huge fan of the Queen Facehugger, but I like that they include a smaller version of it to use with your human figures, and since I suspect it won’t cost as much as Mantis and Gorilla I might just buy the whole wave.

And we need to buy these so we get more. Just imagine how cool a (deluxe?) Bull Alien might look!

The Bull definitely seems like a popular choice. I was actually expecting them to do Scorpion alien in the first set because it was just a regular warrior alien but with spikes, I'm glad it actually isn't in this set because it would look really close to just a movie alien.

I always liked Scorpion, the gold really works visually.

EDIT - Cougar could use the body too.

Bull Alien was cool and the Snake Alien was always a favorite.

Scorpion Alien was nice but mine would never stay together. I guess I'd look at it wrong or something because it just fell to pieces.

Yeah...doesn't sound as good as Batman vs Predator. As dumb as it may have been it was still a good read.

They'd gone properly mental by book 2, frankly. But then BvP got much worse too IMO. The original's a classic though.
