I dig it!

looks about how I expected him to look. nothing like the comics but just like colossus I'm sure it'll work in the movie (same with domino).

Tomax 08-07-2017 06:41 PM

dont like the way cable looks, he is missing the shoulder pads and the white hair

Weapon X 08-07-2017 08:20 PM

Somewhat underwhelmed by Cable. I think the metal arm looks good but his clothes are really plain and I'm not digging the hairstyle. But not terrible. Better than Domino for sure.

Still wish Brad Pitt had been cast.

lordbest 08-07-2017 09:44 PM

Not muscly enough, he looks like a wiry old man cosplaying Cable, not Cable. Domino was an interesting new take on the character, this just feels...off.

Tomax 08-07-2017 11:55 PM

Stephen Lang should play Cable, he was in Avatar.

Josh Brolin could not possibly put on more muscle at his age...

Weird that you're okay with Domino but not this...

Then they should have cast a bulkier actor. I don't need Schwarzenegger at his prime levels of bulk, but Cable should be bulky not wiry.

The problem is for me that Domino was an interesting take on the design, inverting it and having a real skin pigment condition as the mutant birthmark. There was thought and care behind all that.
Cable is much closer in design to comics, but the wrong size. I find that more grating than them doing something new with Domino.

But I don't care that much either, it's not like it's going to ruin the film for me.

really? why, he did a good job in 'Avatar' and 'Dont breathe'

Il Cattivo 08-08-2017 10:47 PM

stephen lang would've been perfect.

Good, because Schwarzenegger used steroids to get to that size.

.....heavily disagree. Body positivity is important to me, and promoting an image that is not attainable naturally just isn't good. As it is, a lot of superhero actors are already sporting bodies that aren't sustainable even without juice. Just look up the behind the scenes of Nic Cage for his shirtless scene is Ghost Rider, I think he didn't eat or drink anything the whole day before shooting.

These guys often don't look like this when they aren't shooting.

Il Cattivo 08-09-2017 02:15 PM

no one cares. I say let them all take steroids. its not like they're competing in sports.

Incorrect again. You know what they say about assuming...makes an ass out of you.

Il Cattivo 08-09-2017 03:05 PM

believe me no one cares lol. they're not hitting baseballs and punching each other in the face. their job is to act and especially in superhero movies, look good.

I'm with you. No need for anabolic steroids at all. They can get these bodies without resorting to such an extreme measure. They have the money, time, and resources to rely on strict diet and hypertrophy weight training.

Il Cattivo 08-09-2017 04:25 PM

if they can do it without steroids, cool. if they want to resort to using steroids, that's fine too. seems like a weird thing to have a problem with. its not like steroids makes you a better actor. its certainly not illegal in hollywood.

Il Cattivo 08-09-2017 04:27 PM

yo anyone heard about leo taking steroids for his role in the revenant? well worth it imo. finally got that oscar :D
