^That. It's a deep shame that Shane Black couldn't see what made the original movie so fantastic. Apparently, the only part that stuck with him was the stupid banter at the beginning where his character got a few lines -- that, and stuff going 'boom' -- and deeper elements went completely over his head. There's such a wealth of raw material in the books; why doesn't the franchise make use of it?

Don't forget the Disney acquisition of Fox and their licenses...which industry experts familiar with the deal have said on numerous occasions that Disney has no interest in further pursuing future projects with.

We may have seen the last of the Predator...as well as the Xenomorphs...for a long time.

That actually is exactly what I'm hoping for. I would rather not see any Predator or Aliens movies with that stupid Disney castle popping up in the opening credits. Maybe there's a slight chance they'll sell those properties?

Considering that all past attempts have been terrible I dont care who takes a shot at the movies. They cant do any worse so why not let them try?

I say reboot it. Get cena as dutch, adam rodriguez as poncho (this time let the poor bastard make it to da choppa), terry crews as dillon, ben foster as hawkins, micheal b jordan as mac, christian de la fuente as billy, daniel bryan as blaine, and michelle rodriguez as anna, cast random no bodies as the guerillas.

Yeah, exactly. People WANT Predator movies...just not shitty ones written and directed by a guy who apparently has no idea what makes them cool.

It's like Black took his character in Preadator - the Pussy Joke Guy - and made every character in The Predator that guy. Just horrible, horrible writing.

If you were trying to come up with the worst possible cast for a Predator movie, you pretty much nailed it, dude.
