Products will say sold out until each item is switched back to in stock.

For those ordering a TMNT set, do 2 things about 5 minutes before hand.

1. Log into/create your NECA Store account.

2. Log into your account at Paypal.com. This will prevent the need to enter your password, removing an additional step in the process.

If you're not using a Paypal account, you're likely going to be outta luck. By the time you enter your Credit Card info, it will be sold out.

Now I just have to cross my fingers that my set has decent paint and the figures won't break while I'm removing them from the package. I'm a little skiddish about Neca figures because I've had 4 of my Alien figures break on me while I was trying to pose them. I will definitely have my wife's hair dryer on hand whenever I handle these Turtles figures.

Whoa are Neca figures that fragile? I've never purchased a neca figure before...first time. I would hate to give this as a gift and they open it and breaks on them especially for $200...Also do they actually charge you before shipping the item out?

Bearjew 06-22-2017 08:14 AM

I saw on the NECA twitter feed today that they would be revealing a new Godzilla at SDCC, any ideas as to what it could be?

You'll be charged when you place the order I believe :)

I believe there are multiple figures being planned. They haven't shared any hints.

Could they be new sculpts or just repaints?

I haven't been in this game for too long so I am not sure what they consider "new figures"

Joe Moore 06-22-2017 10:03 AM

Turtles sold out in 1 minute 40 seconds today. Hope anyone who tried was able to get them.

Well I did as instructed and....I GOT MY SET!!!!

I was sweating bullets when paypal was taking forever to process the checkout, but regardless I am stoked to be getting this set also a friend of mine who had the same timing yesterday was able to get their set today too. We both went the paypal route to be a bit quicker.

Joe Moore 06-22-2017 10:29 AM

Awesome! Glad it worked out.

Flux Convoy 06-22-2017 10:32 AM

Got my set too. I had been refreshing and it slowed down. I finally saw the blue add to cart button. Checked out. Redirected to their page and they were already sold out. Crazy!

Unhinged1983 06-22-2017 11:42 AM

Hope you all got what you were after today!

I have almost 100 NECA figures spanning from 2009 to the present and only one has actually broken on me. It was the Spiked Tail Predator from series 16 and it had a pretty widespread hip breakage issue but the replacement for it that I got is perfectly fine. A good number of my other figures have taken falls off of their shelves and none of them have broken from that. I would recommend using a hair-dryer for stuck or worrisome joints but honestly I've had few figures that really needed it, though with an exclusive item it would be better to be safe than sorry and go ahead and use a hair-dryer beforehand.

Uziel 06-22-2017 01:57 PM

Managed to get my set yesterday. I refreshed after just to see if they would sell out and it said one left, one more refresh and it was gone. Crazy how fast these things move... for turtles (ba da BAH!)

Kudos to The NECA store for being able to handle the rush, I've had other pre-order situations that were similar just straight bork the server.

Definitely agree. I've had a few over the years, and 90% were fine. Had a few issues with joints breaking at the leg, but as I usually pose and forget, it hasn't been that bad.

No, for the most part their 6 inch stuff is pretty durable. Seems like Aliens and some of their 18 inch figures are the ones with the highest incidents of breaking. Regular posing and handling they should be fine.

Based on their track record of maximizing the use of each sculpt, it is probably another repaint. But if it's a new figure, I'm hoping it's a Showa Godzilla. I'd really like a 1964 suit or Destroy All Monsters.

I hope it is something from Showa as well. They've managed to improve with each Godzilla figure they've made, the last two I got (54 and GMK) were amazing for being $20, and Showa doesn't get a lot of love. I don't want it to be anything from 2000 or later.

Jal Hordan 06-22-2017 07:45 PM

I got 2 sets of turtles and 2 dutch's. I ordered one set yesterday and one set today. I wanted 2 sets, but, I didn't want to add another step the the order process, so I just got one each day. Then got 2 dutch's today after I ordered my turtles. One for display and one to put away.

I'm confused, was it limited to two sets of each exclusive per person or 2 sets all together per person?

Anyway, congrats.
I wish I had the money to buy 2 but I'm just grateful of getting one tmnt set.

Now my next dilemma is, do I open up my set and actually enjoy the figures or have it hermatically sealed, buried underground in a vault to keep in mint condition? Lol.

I agree after seeing some of the SH releases and their prices I am even more surprised that we are getting the recent figures for their prices from NECA. They are excellent. Hopefully NECa will reveal some completely new Godzilla figures.

Yeah their servers was great, unlike say Koto's which is horrible...hopefully I won't have to experience Koto's this year, doesn't seem like there's a SDCC Bish exclusive this year which is great haha. Money saved.

Very nice! Yeah I would be worrisome to order multiple items when the one hot item sells out fast and just opt out paying for more shipping.

Haha it was 2 items per 1 person.

NECA finally turned international shipping back on, so I got my Sewer Mutation Alien ordered... Pretty happy that they gave international Alien Club members the chance to grab these :)

OGTrilogy 06-24-2017 03:54 PM

So does anyone know when these are going to start shipping out? I keep checking the website via the link in my confirmation email and it hasn't been updated since Wednesday. Thanks.

I have quite a few NECA figures and I have found them to be more fragile than most Marvel Legends, DCUC, Star Wars, Marvel Select and DC Collectibles. NECA's Predator and Terminator figures are mostly fine but a few of my Alien Xenos broke very easily. I don't use unessecary force when posing my figures and I'm not rough with them in the least. Most of the DC Comics figures I have are pretty poorly done and I don't even try to pose them much for fear they might break. I think it was En Saba Need who mentioned a while back that the TRU Exclusive Chris Reeve Superman and Heath Ledger Joker figures in particular were slapped together rather hastily and that's part of the reason why so many people had breakage problems with them in particular. So that makes me nervous about the TMNT set too because they are such a limited exclusive set. I hope the QC for the Turtles is on par with the Predator and Terminator figures I have because they will be difficult and expensive to replace.

They ship out next month right around SDCC, I believe.
