I felt the same way. I was really disappointed by the CC. I know they showed some legends figures but that was it. No information, reveals, or anything. Kinda lame indeed.

Dengar on the other hand I could do without, the only thing I've ever liked about Dengar is that Simon Pegg has voiced him (twice now) but other than that Dengar just looks like Johnny Cash wrapped up in toilet paper to me.
Always liked Dengar. Heck of a nice guy.

I don't even know who those characters are.
"Hammer... who?
Boba... what?
Darth... who?!
Star... what?!
The hell are you people talking about?!!"

Did you really just argue that we need ewoks before bounty hunters?
Ewoks before Bounty Hunters!
Furries before normies!

Quote:

Pretty much my feelings. I don't like him terribly much but I know a lot of people who rank him second or third to Boba Fett in the bounty hunter line up so I'm glad that those fans should be pleased.
Fett, Bossk, Dengar - in that order.

Whirlwind, bullseye, gladiator... you get the picture.
Whirlwind rox!
Bullseye is the coolest!
Gladiator... ok - you win that one.

Fett is paid for locating the Falcon so the Empire is able to intercept them at Bespin. Then after that it's implied Fett has a claim on Solo. But why? Either Vader just let's him have Solo or maybe since Solo has a bounty on his head, he has "worth" so maybe Solo IS the reward or part of the reward? Otherwise, it seems like Fett gets paid twice for just finding the Falcon, which doesn't really make sense.
I think the 'Solo is reward' makes sense. Backed up by Vader's willingness to compensate Fett if he dies.

Can't understand all of the hate for poor Dengar. The guy was Boba's homie, having known him since he was a child, and was the one who pulled Boba from the Sarlaac (after the battle on Jabba's barge,) and nursed him back to health in the EU before Disney did their retcon/clean slate thing...
Heck of a nice guy.

In many of the novels and even in the Clone Wars, it is hinted that despite being gangsters, the Hutt clan has some very powerful pull in the galaxy, especially after Jaba was able to lay claim to it. His willingness to compensate Fett and keep peace between the Empire and the Hutts might have had a bit of politics involved. If Hutt felt that the Empire had slighted him, he might be inclined to support the rebel cause through other means like funding, gun running, and guerilla warfare, and Vader, knowing this, thought best to let sleeping dogs lie.

It is also possible that since we now know that Fett was a clone of his father, and of the same lineage of the Republic's Clone army, perhaps there was a bit of unspoken respect between Vader and Fett. Vader in his past life was close with many a clone soldier during the Clone Wars, and admired their loyalty and courage to the cause, even against overwhelming odds. Perhaps he sees those traits in Fett as well, who already has a reputation at this point of being one of the most feared and cunning bounty hunters in the galaxy at the time of his hiring, a reputation that he held for a while, having come close to killing Mace Windu, as well as Anakin, several times as a child.

It's still the crooked abs lower section, but it's not the "shelf pecs" upper torso which was what ruined that buck IMHO.

Honestly, Gladiator has been on my top 10 list for some time now, so to finally get him is great.

That Cable looks Kick Ass. When are these scheduled to be released?

No problem. Though to be fair, that's just based on the pictures I've seen, I could very well be wrong and that's the old shelf-pec sculpt (which I really hope it's not).

I don't think a set release date has been mentioned, but I think speculation is Summer/Fall 2018.
