Has the 90s TV Flash been released in the US yet? I know it's out in Canada, but I've seen it listed as in stock on some online stores. I could order it, but I'd rather pick one up in person so I can check the paint.

So a lot of these figures look great. I just have my doubts they look this good when they hit the shelves. Prove me wrong mattel!!
|
Really excited about the 6in. line. Hopefully they will be able to deliver a nice balance of classic and modern characters. I'm going to need Allan & Ellie, asap!

I want the raptor that says "Allan!".

Ian Malcom? Sold. Yup. Easiest money Mattel ever made. Bravo! Good likeness too, hopefully retail looks as good.

Lol wtf Mattel gives professional acrobat Nightwing single jointed elbows, and noted academic who waved a flare around once Ian Malcolm doubles.
To reiterate, lol wtf |
Black Manta Ship?
Does anyone wonder about the vehicle in the Aquaman display photos? It's pretty clear in the 7th photo in the gallery, and I've seen it on other sites. Could they be releasing Black Manta's ship for this scale?

Need Starfire and Hawkgirl

When are the batman ninja figures coming out?
|
So was mattel even at NYCC?

Mattel are really upping their game with the DC figures lately. I'm not going to say that they're better or worse than the Marvel Legends line as - lets face it ML are probably one of the greatest toylines ever, thanks to Toybiz in the '90s and early '00s (and Hasbro's efforts after the fact) - but Mattel do see to have improved.
I'm encouraged to see representations of the DC live action properties beyond the mixed bag that is the current DCMU. Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman and the upcoming Heath Ledger Joker are probably two of the coolest looking action figures produced in any of the Mattel DC lines. I am personally hoping for a redux of Michael Caine's Alfred Pennyworth, that character for me would be a holy grail figure. Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face (or indeed a version of Shatner's Two Face from the animated movie), Schwarzenegger's Mister Freeze and Brolin's Jonah Hex would also be on my wish list. Other than that... a Terri Hatcher Lois Lane? :haha |
