The really GREAT Batman movie still has not been made.

Re: this movie, I just hope Mar-Vell gets a real kick-ass super suit. That was one of the things that originally drew me to the character in the 70s. If it's just mediocre like Danvers, I'll be bummed.

I'm not gonna go full-on spoilers and say who it is, but I'm just gonna say... we know for sure Jude Law's character isn't Mar-Vell now. Thanks to Funko! Pops.

Totally agree. I’m in the minority, I know, but I thought all the Marvel movies after Avengers 2 have been lackluster aside from Antman series and Thor Ragnarok.

For me, Russo Bros just make edited video game cut scenes. I found Infinity War boring after the battle in New York. By the time the snap happened, I wanted to fade from existence!

Again, as a minority, I found Venom and Antman & Wasp to be far more entertaining than Infinity War. They at least remembered they were comic book flicks. For me, infinity War tried too hard to be a Shakespearean drama or Greek tragedy.

So not only yet another bafless fig in a wave but a stupid packaging variant? Ugh. Look hasbro either every fig in the wave needs a baf piece or save it for another wave.

Gunathar 12-18-2018 12:00 PM

Well if anybody doesn't care about that cute cat in Denvers' arms, think of me! It's the only part of this series I'd be willing to get.

The cat is awesome. Love that the figure can cradle him!

Hasbro loves including the BAF head with the figure they know nobody wants. First Gladiator now this.

Many folks have wanted a Gray Gargoyle ML figure. I definitely want him. Gladiator was previously available in that multi-pack. so yeah. That was a big ole "blah". But this Gray Gargoyle is GREAT. Never though I'd see one made.

Who are you seeing as variant packaged?

The long haired carol with no baf. They show what appeared to be two packaging loadouts where one had the mohawk helmet on and another with the unhelmeted long haired head on.

He's one of those characters who strikes me as a "fan favorite" who nonetheless is gonna pegwarm due to his relative obscurity, a la any of the Serpent Society figures or Whirlwind.

The Mcu figs are definitely buys! Any reason why the cat with Fury in handcuffs? Haha. Secondly is anyone interested in the baf parts from the MCU figs? I will have no interest in them so hit me up

Couldn't that just be Hasbro showing that the head can be swapped in those "out of box" promo pictures? It doesn't necessarily mean that there will be a packaging variant, there could be but it would be a complete waste of effort on Hasbro's part since they'd still be the exact same toy with the same two heads.

In the comics, Carol has a similar looking cat named Chewie. I won't spoil anything except to say that Chewie WAS NOT a Skrull (popular online theory from people who haven't read the comics) and that Rocket tried to kill Chewie upon meeting him.

I echo this sentiment. I preordered this set a while back from Dorkside, when they had them up for a couple of hours. I already have a buyer lined up for the two comic figures, and the BAF.

Cause fury is a sadistic, cat hating douche. ;) haha must be a dog person.

Cobra1 12-19-2018 11:34 AM

This figure captures all the excitement and charisma of a thumbtack. Just like Brie Larson.

Here's the Starforce version with the alternate Doctor Minerva head.
