Picked up Shrike Ana from the 2-pack and sold off Soldier 76. I don't play Overwatch or know much about the game, but Ana's Shrike skin makes for a very cool-looking figure (much more so than her default look).

Based on this upcoming Gamestop pack, I assume that means we'll be getting these same figures in their standard colors at retail sooner or later. I'd totally pick up Genji.

Kind of silly for them to keep putting out alternate skins so early on before the default has been released. They're recolors though so I'm sure the defaults are coming soon.

That Zarya looks REALLY nice. Like it has no right to look so good.

D.Va seems to have some nice articulations as well, so as long as they release a default color one, we can skip the stiff GSC one altogether. Genji will be the big deal here since the figma was so poorly articulated for a character that needs to do ninja poses. Hopefully Hasbro delivers.

Not really silly. If they put out the default first most people would skip the variants, but put the variant first and more folks will buy it in case it's the only one they get (manipulative? Sure, but it works!)

I just want genji so hopefully he gets released before this pack.

Also, it's an exclusive. If anything, it tells us that wave 2 will likely include D.Va, Genji, and Zarya in some capacity.

It's just redecos, not retool/new sculpt skins, so they're not exactly essential to most collections.

I highly doubt that the only Genji Hasbro is going to make will be a non-default skin in an exclusive set. You might have to wait until after this set is out but my point remains.

I'm hoping that this means we'll get D.Va with her MEKA as the next big deluxe like Reinhardt. It would likely be more expensive than Reinhardt but I think it could still be done as a single release.

I'm all in on whatever overwatch figures Hasbro makes. Sdcc overwatch reveals are what I'm most excited for this year. Hopefully this line does well so we get the whole crew in there default skins eventually.

This is what makes it frustrating for me when they do characters like Ana and Reaper in their non-default skins, there's that fear that if the line doesn't do well then we won't get them in their standard skins. This new four pack doesn't bother me because it is an exclusive and that's where they should be putting recolors. As it currently stands my fingers are crossed that one of the next two-packs will be proper Reaper and Widowmaker since I always wanted those two in toy form and getting them sooner than later would ease my mind, and of course D.Va with her MEKA as I noted in my previous post.

I totally hope we get D.Va and MEKA! :)

Sculpts and articulation look nice but ehh, I'll wait for the regular colors of these. Also I'm hoping they release a full MEKA for D.Va because the Figma already looks to offer a great D.Va outside of her mech with multiple accessories to boot.

Zarya's headsculpt looks great.

Yah, Mei is my main, but Ana is my 2nd most played character in the game and I like her Shrike skin because it could easily pass off as a generic space bounty hunter type... so she can blend in with your Marvel Legends and Star Wars shelf. Plus, I just like the big glowing inverted triangle symbol on her faceplate... so cool. LOL.

What if their SDCC exclusive is D.Va w/ MEKA??? I'd pay upwards to $100 (maybe $120) for an in-scale, articulated MEKA if they can work it so D.Va can actually squeeze in and pilot it.

Hell no to it being exclusive, F**K that idea. D.Va is easily one of the most popular characters and without her MEKA she'd be incomplete so if they made access to the MEKA exclusive in any way that'd just be a huge middle finger to fans. One of the epic skins as a con exclusive would be fine but her default MEKA needs to be widely available.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't go the BAF route with the Overwatch line for characters like Reinhardt and Orisa but I guess they realize that people into Overwatch would buy the whole wave anyway so might as well offer the large figures separately.

I'm not totally surprised but I'm also really glad they didn't go down that route. I'm not surprised because Marvel Legends is the only line that Hasbro puts out with that gimmick so it's not like they have a strong precedent for using the BAF trick and in their special sublines for Legends (stud10, vintage style, and now 80th ann.) they don't use the BAF system. I'm really glad they didn't go that way with Overwatch though because I prefer how they're doing the individual releases in a wave of 4 figures in cases of 8 where no figure is short-packed. That and with no BAF system each figure can actually come with all of their accessories and the deluxes can have their accessories too, a BAF system for Reinhardt would not have been able to include that huge shield.

Right now Overwatch is easily my most looked forward to thing from Hasbro for SDCC and it's still more than a month away.

so genji carries the whole set? kinda sucks but that last female characters looks really weird.

On the plus side, I picked up Reinhardt today from Gamestop since they're doing 20% off all Overwatch merch until tomorrow.
He goes good next to my third party Bastion figure and my figma. Also picked up one of the few Sombra I've seen with near-perfect paint apps on her jacket.


I've got figma D.Va coming in from Amiami next month and going by available pics, she looks a lot better than the Hasbro D.Va in that Gamestop exclusive sets. It's a little frustrating that it took so long for Blizz and Hasbro to release figures when the figma have been out for months and Blizzard made humongous figures complete with boxes back during the first year of the game's release. My wallet hates me for wanting to double dip on Tracer and with figma Mercy and Pharah coming out this year, I might end up double dipping on them as well.

Pictures of the New Overwatch figures have popped up... 2 pk of tracer and the cowboy guy. 2pk of the samurai and ninja robot... individual figures of the coboy... something I can't identify (a thin robot?) the big gal that's in the 4pack.... Would help if I knew any of the names... lol... anyways- I'm sure there will be coverage on them shortly...

^ You made me curious so I went over to Toynewsi to see some pics... looks like singles for default Hanzo, McCree and Zarya and Junkrat on the back of the box. They didn't have the 2 pack pics though, but a Hanzo and Genji 2 pack does seem like a given.

Watched a review of mccree single pack he looks amazing can't wait.

Okay so from what I've found it's:
Zarya, Junkrat, and McCree are the individuals.
Posh Tracer and White Hat McCree 2 pack.
Hanzo and Genji 2 pack.

So I'm guessing there's another individual figure we don't know of yet since wave 1 was a set of 4 characters. I'm really annoyed that one of the two packs leaked here is just skin variants on Tracer and McCree though since that means we'll be getting two of McCree in one assortment and Tracer was just in the first one, maybe/hopefully this pack is actually just some kind of exclusive. Just pure speculation here but I'm guessing the new deluxe might be D.Va with her MEKA since the base figure for D.Va herself has already been shown in the Gamestop exclusive 4 pack.

Ya a double repaint pack seems like a terrible pegwarming idea. If they want to sell the repaints/skins they need to be packed a OG skin of a new character. I'll buy a repaint tracer if it came with reapers main skin not so much with mcCree skin.
