Hey, has anyone got their preorders cancelled for this? I received an email today telling me so, with no reasons, of course; and they also cleared out my account history.
Darn I hate the gamestop site...

Look a few posts ahead of yours. Happened to me today. Saw it was still listed and reordered, and also sent a 3 page equivalent angry rant email to GameStop about such BS practices.

Bunch of morons, seriously. I placed another order, received the confirmation email, but the site shows nothing on my orders.
Their India center is always complete bullshit since they do not have power over orders or payments. Damn playmates for always forcing people to buy from faulty sites and networks instead of releasing others to maje good product.

Same here. Cancelled my order. I sent them an angry email. They then claimed they could not find my order. Then sent me another email saying they are confirming my cancellation. They also have no record of my Jurassic park preorder. I sent them the order number, a copy of my confirmation email and they still said there is no record of it. Shocking that I received my goldar. GameStop is really dropping the ball with their new site. This seems to be happening across the board on many forums.

I wrote them back saying I’m done with them. No wonder they are almost finished as a chain.

Man, this is depressing. I'd hate to see another specialty store go away but you can't save your business by making boneheaded mistakes like deleting orders. If Gamestop does close before December 1st, maybe the remaining sets could be sold on shopdcentertainment.com.

I'm not really a big fan of Gamestop's practices, but atleast I have the option to shop there. I guess I'm just nostalgic, but finding something in person can be pretty awesome.

The idea of GameStop closing is awful. So many collectibles exclusives are finding a new outlet. The website, that thing needs some new leadership.

I have been hearing for years and especially of late about the financial troubles of GameStop. Mostly tied to game systems no longer needing to have physical games in the future. It seems GameStop tried to find a new buyer but failed. You can look up articles on them. Loosing them would be a massive blow, one some companies might not recover from.

I will go in store to see if I can order the items I want. The staff at my store.....and honestly every store I’ve been to are very helpful. The website is dead to me. But I will still shop In store.

I get you. Unfortunately for some of us, the only option is the online option.
I re-ordered again yesterday and the order was not even showing up in my account. I log in today, and the new order is there and says that more than half the bundle is partially shipped... doesn't even make sense!

This second order will be my last attempt at purchasing this set. I refuse to go into the stores, and if I can't get it online, I'll do without, unless I see a really good deal on ebay for the set of 10.

I am in the same situation. Stayed on hold for 2 hours just for them to basically not know what was happening.
They did accept their site is messed up and their IT dept. is trying to fix the errors.
Is your latest order showing up under you account at least? What does it display if so?

I found the first 2 sets at my local GameStop today. 2 each of Leo and Batman/ Raph and robin. Beautiful figures. Only cost me $80 for the 2 sets. They have that bag sale. Buy a bag for $5, the contents you get 25% off.

I can’t go in. I recently sold all my systems, games, accessories. Was a horrible money sink. I’ll just have to wait and hope they don’t cancel my new order or learn to do without.

Did you order as a bundle or singles?

God I hate that trend, especially the notion that streaming services will be the way of the future for video games. Well excuse me for wanting to actually own games rather than keep a monthly or yearly subscription going.

There is a guy on youtube who just posted a story that GameStop will be closing half of their stores by years end. Stores that make under 800,000. The other stores will undergo massive changes. Could just be a rumor, it’s under GameStop breaking news.

I ordered the singles but they're all on one order.

I checked my account mid week and all of my orders are showing up now. Someone on the Fwoosh said they talked to GS customer service and was informed that they were doing server maintenance over the Labor Day weekend, which is why people were having so much trouble viewing their orders.

Jay C posted the same thing on TNI this morning.

I asked my local GameStop. They knew nothing about it or the guys video. Did the toynewsi guys think there is anything to this? This makes me sick to think of losing another outlet for toys, especially neca. Well, come what may.

Also, today I went to the think geek store in the Walden galleria mall in buffalo, and they had to have had 10 sets of each turtles 2-pack. Man is that mall set up good. GameStop, think geek,spencers,hot topic and box lunch all next to each other. Then fye down the hall.

Does anyone know the height on Bats?
I saw Bats at my GS today but i passed on it cause it looked kinda short but i could be wrong.
I will probably sell Leo on eBay if i buy it tomorow...

SideNote: Ive noticed that my GS puts action figs all over the place. I almost missed this pack if it wasnt for me looking around alittle more closely LOL ........I did buy Psycho from Borderlands today

I just checked the story again and it was updated since I originally read it. Apparently the guy who posted the video (Camelot331) is an ex-GameStop employee who was fired. Jay C noted that he's had some reliable information in the past about lay offs, which is why Jay C posted the original story, but he noted that it's possible that this guy may have an axe to grind against GS.

So i nabbed a Bats 2 pack and put Leo for sale last nite on ebay and he already sold this morning. selling like hot cakes folks...ill probably end up buying the turtles later on LOL

SideNote: I was gonna let you guys know about me selling Leo but someone bought it before i can post it here LMFAO :p

I'd really like to pick up Just Batman and Robin from these sets and skip the Turtles altogether.

TNI is reporting that the CEO of GS confirmed during an earnings call that 180-200 underperforming stores would be closed by the end of the year.
