Yup. But they did break up the movie over several episodes when the show was in syndication. And when those episodes aired, that was the intro. I always loved it when those episodes aired. That intro always made the episodes feel extra special.

Every Friday & Saturday night for the past month and a half, I've been getting in the "right frame of mind" and then throwing on my youtube mix of cartoon themes. When it gets to the GI Joe megamix the movie theme always throws me off because the verse part of the GI Joe March is so radically different, it's like waiting for the "...and then there's Maude" part of the Maude theme song. Maddening!

But then Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors intro comes on and I get FKIN PUMPED!!!!! All better.

LMAO! Your Maude reference is too damn good. And Fuck!!! Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. Talk about a good theme song. So underrated when it comes to 80s cartoon intros. People always talk about Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, Thundercats. But Jayce is easily up there, maybe even a little better. It’s really of the time, but being from that time, it’s hard to beat.

It's odd how Duke's box art hearkens back to the art style of the old animated show, where no others do.

I was at my closest Target earlier today and they didn't have any Joe stuff, exclusive or otherwise. I'm not a big Joe fan but I would have picked up a Cobra trooper or two if I had seen them. I ran into another collector who was very apparently upset about them having nothing.

I'm feeling concerned about pursuing the red ninja when he drops, guy's only one per case but he's an army builder.

So is the Cobra Trooper. Which makes absolutely No Sense in any way shape or form to make them an Exclusive to one damn Store.

Actually the Cobra Trooper is sent in its own case of 6, along with the other Target exclusive Joes. One thing Hasbro got right haha

I am reasonably confident that Hasbro will do another normal Cobra trooper release later, maybe like the Marvel troop builders available on Pulse. The paint scheme and/or accessories might be different but I seriously doubt the basic bad guy cannon fodder is only ever going to be accessible through Target. I'm even more confident we'll see Baroness again later without the bike and with more armor paint details.

I wonder if the COIL Baroness is meant to be a "classic" looking version of the character. The artwork shows her with purple highlights in her hair and gold shoulder pads. It's not a huge difference but it's possible that's how a single carded Baroness might differ from the one with the bike.

Found Snake Eyes Today Did some Kit Bash on him with an Extra Special Edition I bought for this reason. Swapped Heads, Gave him an Uzi and a real Hand Gun Courtesy of SE Snake Eyes.

Went to Target, found the shelf tags with no product, had an employee scan them and there's"nothing in back" and they're still thinking they're street dated for the 14th...

I have two Cobra Troopers, a Beachhead, and a Cobra Commander in the mail and on their way to me. Can't wait.

No Baroness anywhere in the wild yet. Nothing on ebay (except for one Hong Kong seller) and no reviews on YouTube. Those are the test for anyone wondering if a figure has been released anywhere yet...if they're not on ebay or on YouTube, they're not out yet.

I think you're 100% correct. The Target-exclusive Baroness is a nod to the classic color scheme, and the upcoming single-carded one will have the funky purple highlights and gold trim.

I'll be happy to get both. :)

I have the Hasbro Pulse version, but I also found a guy on ebay selling casts of the uzi and pistol so I got a set and gave it to my retail SE since I can't hang with his idiotic super soaker guns. When I compare the casts to the guns from my Pulse SE they're VERY close in quality.
