That Wolverine silouhette looks like it has ball joints and webbed claws, meaning it will just be another shitty repaint or whatever of the XMO figure.
Way to go Hasbro. Keep putting random ball jointed figures alongside non-ball jointed ones. |

looks to tall to use the same astonishing body from the xmo line ,maybe its a new sculpt?
|
I agree with many of my cohorts...Vance Astro, Astonishing Wolvie, and Nova. I'm sticking with Nova, there's an ML figure floating around where he doesn't have the pointed spaulders. Plus there's a big demand for him.

http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1279518921 The bucket head could be classic nova. Painted on details, and it'd explain the flying pose which doesn't quit fit for Herc or kang either. It's hard to be certain if it's flying or running, but I'm leaning on the classic nova flying pose now that you say that. The gloves and boots don't line up for Nova though. Gah, this one's going to frustrate me. So we got: Paper Bag Spidey (human torch body, new head) Speedball (Human Torch body, new head) Starlord (aim agent body) Black Knight Scarlet Spider (ben reilly) MockingBird Vance Astro XMO: ASX Wolvie Masked version (neck is longer than it looks in the photo of the original) Classic Nova/Hercules/Kang/unknown |

I hope it's either Kang or Nova in that picture. Other than Mockingbird and an actual Astonishing X-Men Wolverine, I will pass of absolutely all of these if they're the characters I think they are. Not big into the joke Spider-Man or Cosmic Marvel, and everyone else is just a "meh".
Sorry to be so negative. Here's hoping for a current style Steve Rogers, though. |

Steve doesn't use the shield anymore so I can't see it being Super Soldier. |
I am now not sure what the first is. Someone said the Patriot...now I am thinking it.
The last guy...I would love it to be Nova but...it does not look like it. After hearing KANG I was for sure. Kang would be more appropriate on that silouhette. |

I'm not sure who the guy with the shield is maybe Vance Astro like Nex said, but the guy with the helmet is using a cyclops molded body. That rules out Hercules and taller figures.
He does look like he's in a flying pose but no visible star so hard to say if it could be Nova. And classic Nova had no shoulder spikes. Kinda lame that Hasbro can't just make a new Wolverine mold. I hate the XMO wolverine sculpt!!! Way too short the claws suck and it sucks that hasbro makes you buy a separate figure just to get a masked or unmasked head sculpt! I really hope bringing in XMO molds is not going to become the norm. Except for Deadpool, Maverick, and Sabretooth that line sucked ass! But I did like the fact that it used both movie accurate figures and comic. That was a good idea. Also all the figures that were any good were comic accurate. |
Its definitely Vance Astro since Curto had been dropping a "MAJOR" hint Threads.Rebelscum.com: Marvel Universe - v12
That last one is a stumper. Herc would have a skirt. Nova you would think would have visible spikes on mask and shoulders. Kang I would think would have a blousier body I would think. That idiot Shatterstar would have a sword. Who else wears a helmet like that and can possibly fly? |
Aside from the missing webgear (which could simply be paint apps now), this is why I'm seeing Kang:

Also, if you look at the background, there are "ripples" where the white and blue blend together, like the character is stepping through some kind of portal. Granted, this could also indicate Nova. |
you know. I'm looking at that mystery flyer again
and a thought occurs. Hasbro owns Parker Bros Parker Bros owns.......ROM could it be ROM? |

This is starting to get very, very, interesting. A Vance Astro would be AWESOME.

They also quoted on CTR.com that threre will be an unexpected Gigantic figure too.
I hope it's Groot... But what else could we expect from Hasbro? I hope that the Movie figure lines next year do not screw up the MU line. |
Quote:
Yeah, I'm still worried about that. On the one hand with the two movie lines as well as MU we'll hopefully see many new characters but then again with all three lines glutting the shelves will the stores stock the newer stuff even less than they do now, which is practically never. |

so when are these going to be revealed? Can't wait to actually see them all and i will buy them all
|
Count me in for a Groot with Rocket Raccoon pack in! What kid doesn't want an anthropomorphic tree with a raccoon crawling in his branches?
I'd hope that last character is not ROM, since I'd like to see him more angular. Kang is a good guess since they've said they are still willing to finish off missing Secret Wars characters and this list of teases needs some bad guys! |
