I honestly expect Mcfarlane to be 25 soon. You cant have printing of money, environmentalism, oil, plastic tax, wef and so on without consequences.

Legends should hit 30 soon on average. What I'm hearing for other industries 2023 will be 2022, but worse.

If Legends and Black Series Start hitting 30 bucks for wave figures I Might start drawing the line.

Nice Robin. Finally. Maybe I’ll get it, maybe not. Still waiting for Knightfall era Tim Drake Robin, specifically from Mafex. That’s my favorite type of Robin.

Todd has a Knightfall sculpt for Tim but painted it red/black. We're waiting for the corrected repaint.

I'm not a fan of the permanently extended swords on Black Manta. Ocean Master looks the best although I'd prefer his iconic trident.

Speculation: The general absence of female figures stems from the fact that a majority of collectors aren't interested. The market has spoken.

That said, I'm still puzzled by the vast majority of production decisions over the past couple of years. I have money to spend, but the kind of product I want just isn't being produced except in very rare instances, and when it does happen, it's usually years after interest has waned.

Plenty of collectors are interested in plenty of female characters/figures, yet there's this odd tendency to ascribe any kind of peg-warming status to their being female in place of the wall of reasons male figures are afforded. Like, it can't be poor character selection or costume choice or sculpt quality or paint or missing a hype train or over-production, it's gotta be the mewbie-bewbies!

Seriously, though, when you have to buy multiples of a figure and swap random heads onto the bodies just to pretend that you've got a decent number of women on your shelf? It sucks. I'm going to get sooo many of the new Cobra Trooper packs it's not even funny.

Specifically for McFarlane Multiverse they haven't made many female characters to begin with and with one or two exceptions they have all been flawed. In my opinion. Weirdly long legs, odd costume choices (no Classic WW but a bunch of obscure outfits, the cartoon Harley face sculpt on a more realistically proportioned body etc.) To turn around and say they aren't selling because they are female is absurd.

Take into consideration the recent all female Valaverse female figure wave which outsold both previous all male waves, the Mythic Legions female figure kickstarter being the most successful action figure KS ever (it might still be), the aftermarket price on a lot of popular Marvel Legends, and Black series and Mattel Multiverse female figures etc. You just cannot sustain the argument there isn't demand for female figures.

I'm with you re: Mythic Legions, and certain characters like Evangeline Lilly as Wasp are personal must haves.

Okay, point taken. The market response depends on various factors, like the character and the quality of release. I dislike McFarlane stuff generally.

Speaking of female figures, it looks like McFarlane is going to use Carrie Kelley Robin’s buck for Grayson.
