Disney forced Hasbro for example to make new sequel toys and leaving being the originals. End result, no one buys anything. DST isa corporation that cow towed to the politics... In many ways, they deleted themselves for to the agenda. No one will but captain falcon toys but I'm sure diamond was like, "let's make that." I spoke to Zach once liked him a lot but struck me as a guy stuck in that California bubble. |

And companies will always make stuff from the "hottest" new movies coming in case they are popular. Which they usually aren't anymore post Endgame for Marvel and Star Wars, well, that's dead. |
Yep I forgot to include the part about Licensers forcing companies to make the shit characters nobody wants like they're enganging in some kind of corporate fraternity hazing/embarrassment ritual.
|
To put it simply, FUGGEM. Let them DIE. It would be great if a reputable company can get the molds, tooling, and prototypes of the stuff we actually wanted and release it. Yeah, right.
|
No they didn't file for bankruptcy because they didnt make the toys you wanted or completed a line lmao.

I'm pretty sure the Asian market will be fine since everything is basically made there. |
Man, I am REALLY hopeful that DST makes it through. Minimates are a huge part of my life, both as a collector and in my hobby as I use them for conceptualizing characters and stories in my writing and DMing.
More than anything, I don't want folks to be out of jobs, that is more important, but I would be gutted if Minimates were done. /If/ they are looking to sell DST off, I hope it goes to a bigger company, or another toy or comic company. |
Yeah, I dig Minimates as well. Hopefully they will survive.

So DST is still putting out pre-order solicits despite the bankruptcy? Hopefully that's good news for their Select Annihilus figure, which is supposed to drop next week.
|
The TRON figures are nothing but an insult. It definitely proves that we will see nothing new from that line.

I wonder if this purchase includes Star Trek holdings? It would be nice to actually receive U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 and U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C, as well as the cancelled 7" action figures. So many things made it to prototype, it would be a shame not to produce them.
