I sold a ton of my ToyBiz Marvel figures here on the ark. Most of my X-Men toys I sold as well but I held on to all my Wolverines and the first wave. Love those toys.
|
I had most of those figures, started selling them off slowly over the years. The Blob may have been my favorite. He was great. And the cyborg Cable with the removable pieces of skin that would show his cyborg body parts, how cool was that? So many happy memories with those figures.
|
Men toybiz toys all rocked, even if they look like crap now. I did not get any until walmart had them on clearance or toybiz had bunch in stock from past waves. I remember buying the 5" cyclops with light up eyes. I was like 6 years old when this line was hot so I can't remember very much about it.

even though I grew up in the 90s, I must've completely skipped over all these toybiz toys. I mean, i watched the cartoons for them on saturday mornings, but i was really into transformers and Star Wars alot more.
|
I loved my ToyBiz X-men figures. By far my favorite was the Air Assault Cable figure. The Sinister with the light up eyes was cool. The spark-up Magneto was cool also, but his legs were weird. Kinda sad that I sold them off, but they were pretty beat up.

I still have Sinister and Magneto! The best Magneto might be the AOA one that came with some bubble towards the end. |
missing wolvie
what is the best wolverine to join this set?
|
best Wolverine? Probably the Water Wars masked one.
|
Phoenix Saga Jean Grey is my all time favorite. Close second was Psylocke/Elektra

The Age of Apocalypse Magneto with removable helmet and giant hand attachment was another favorite of mine.

Yep as well as the repainted version with the M on the chest.
There are so many good figs from the late 90's that were under the rader for this line. Problem was you had to swim through all the crap stuff in a line to get one badass figure. |
Never saw the repainted one. At least I don't think I did. It's been quite a while.

Nope don't recall ever seeing that. Cool though.

all time fav was Phoenix, but i also loved the Domino repaint Jean and Magik
I also remember loving Elektra, even if she was a Psylocke repaint. I think my dad and i kept toy biz in business buying all the variants. |

Though she is not one of my favorites of the line necessarily, I have love for this line because they released a Selene. And a Polaris. Granted both were repaints but still it was good times.
