More of an "if" with current TVC case ratios and distribution.

My Target finally stocked Wave 22 of CW this week. TVC is just a bitch to find at retail, though. And armord Savage is the only figure I need right now from CW as well.

Hey Star Wars Fans! This year's exclusive mail away figure - VC61 - Boba Fett(Prototype Armor) have started to show up in mail boxes, much to our excitment! Now, while you wait for yours to arrive, check out Yakface.com's toy guide update of this exciting new Boba Fett figure! He looks awesome on and off card and belongs in the collection of every last Star Wars fan spanning the universe! Hopefully though, after two years of mail away Fett figures (not that we're complaining, Hasbro), Hasbro will give us some new mail away characters in the future.

Enjoy!

I can't wait till I get mine!!!

Boba Fettuccini 10-10-2011 11:19 AM

I want mine, but the damn mailaway form hasn't shown up in any stores around here.

Anyone got an extra from an open figure that they didn't use?

M3T4L V1KING 10-10-2011 11:29 AM

I personally don't have a lot of interest in that figure. That's probably because it doesn't fit in anywhere in my collection. But here's my question, is the mailaway like the MU Nick Fury or Archangel? When you got to subscribe for something and then you get the figure?

Boba Fettuccini 10-10-2011 12:24 PM

No, it's 5 UPCs. I think...

I got this today. I wanted to share how funny the box label is . It would be hard to keep this a surprise for a kid that helps mom check the mail.
I sent in the online form before they changed the specifics .
I am glad that Hasbro no longer hates me.

D00MTR0N 10-11-2011 05:38 PM

too much like the mquarrie figure for me,I like the mquarrie figure but how bout something new hasbro.

JustryGT 10-11-2011 05:44 PM

You're right, the mquarrie concept Fett is way better than this. I still had to have this though. I have at least 13 different Fetts between Kenner and Hasbro.

Do Boy 10-11-2011 08:12 PM

Came home with mine in the mail too :D

^^ Drool! :D

Haven't gotten mine yet.

Boba Fettuccini 10-14-2011 03:23 AM

I'm beginning to think maybe I can pass on the Fett. Always been a big fan, but I already have so many. Maybe just save my UPCs and hope they do another mailaway next year that isn't Boba Fett. The reproduction of the old vintage one was the mailaway I wanted but I missed it.

Well you might as well get it. Looks like they have a new series of stuff coming out next year. Those UPCs might be useless by then.

Boba Fettuccini 10-15-2011 01:59 AM

Yeah, but there's more Vintage coming right? I mean, they've only done ONE ANH figure... and the original Fett mailaway let you use UPCs from build-a-droid, legacy collection, and clone wars too...

I woulnd't really know I didn't really collect around that time. Was that the wave out at the time? Because for the prototype one you only got to choose from the three lines. And all are available to date in stores

Said Hasbro: Collect and save the UPC codes of any 5 figures from these Star Wars action figure collections: Vintage (97568 Asst.), Saga Legends (21115 Asst.) or The Clone Wars (94736 Asst.)

Jason Abbadon 10-16-2011 07:55 AM

When does that new Luke Skywalker hit? I need his head (which thankfully looks nothing like Mark Hamil) for a MU Quasar custom!

D00MTR0N 10-16-2011 08:14 AM

does anyone else hate the new card art for the 2012 line?

I'm not feeling them at all

JustryGT 10-16-2011 12:38 PM

Hasbro is very strange at times. The recent POC Gi Joe cardbacks are the best I have seen. They are very clean, organized and allow for a decent sized blister to hold the figure and a variety of weapons.
If the SW card backs had to change , why not change into something like that? The current vintage style cardbacks look ok but the cardboard is either too thin or not dense enough.
As far as graphic art on card backs, gijoe and marvel universe win hands down.

Boba Fettuccini 10-16-2011 01:57 PM

I prefer less plastic on my cards, like vintage and the POC GI Joe... and Darth Maul has no place representing the new star wars line. I hate that guy, and he's ruining the packaging. TPM needs to die in fire.
