Damn. $12.99 that is almost Comic book shop prices.

JustryGT 10-08-2011 10:28 PM

Yeah but Alaskan Cod was only $4.00 a pound so you save by shopping there. You're not supposed to go there just for toys.

But I would.
Now at the old Albertsons building is Office Depot, that sucks.

Maybe so. But my HEB is only marked up to 8.99 a figure.

Merchandise Unloading? No those dont count. I was referring specifically to the Mandarin wave #36 through #39 .
I think all the Albertsons closed around me.
I am only a little fascinated by this unloading because a similar thing happened with the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom wave. It was never sold at the big three but did sell a lot at Meijer's and Krogers and a few others out west .
Is this a new trend for Hasbro ? Then a few months later a seller in China has over 170 cases and tries to sell them at high prices.

You must mean Fred Meyer. Meijer is a midwest store. They never had those.

Am I missing any?

ok, this is depressing for me. Guess how many of these stores exist in the northeast lol. one.

ok arkers, im beggin yah, if anyone finds any doubles, id be very willing to buy them from you. I have LITTLE hope of finding jack at my tuesday mornings, and amazons prices make me cringe. For five dollars a figure, thats a golden bargain. If you you can find them for under ten bucks....:) Id be the upmost grateful!

Well Winners = Welcome to The TJX Companies, Inc. I'm sure there are some of those.
(FYI TJ Maxx & Marshalls only have good toys. Homegoods has those "safe" or wooden toys.)

bmorr 10-09-2011 06:39 PM

yeah i go to tjmaxx and marshalls on my toy hunts all the time cause theyre abundant where i live. I hate going there cause it feels mostly like a womens store and im clearly out of place there. the "toy sections" consist of two 6 foot shelves of crap. the only good thing i found there were the rare transformers generations toys and the classic gi joes. will i see 4 IM2 figs there? dont know, but ill keep looking.

Mandarin wave pegwarming in San Antonio.

Hi everyone. I have been reading posts at this site for a while and finally decided to sign-up because of this thread. I recently found the Mandarin wave of IM2 at HEB, a grocery store in San Antonio, peg-warming. I personally bought 3 Mandarins at $6.99 each. I just wanted people to know that you can find these things in the oddest places. This was 2-3 weeks ago and I went back yesterday and they were still there. I guess just lucky but there are a ton of these IM2 figures at HEB.
