Any retail version of Jason Todd would do the world some good. Well, at least the collecting world. |

Honestly, it would have to be a DC Direct release to see the light of day. I'd take a Jason Todd at regular retail price any day, but they'll end up putting out this character (assuming they finally will) only online or in a line that only hits local comic shops and comic con.
yea since he's in a new comic line it would make sense that they make him sometime next year. he would sell out faster then moss man when he went up in the MOTUC sub line last year
I agree..whole heartedly. We need a Red Hood figure...I can understand DCUC being slow on the upkeep they are owned by Mattel, but DC Direct should have been all over that months ago. He's one of the more popular characters in the DCU right now, and you know he would sell. So why the hell haven't we seen one yet? I mean there has to be a reason.
I know with th anime they released some time ago ( Batman Under the Red Hood ) I thought for sure DC Direct would at least made 2 wave for that. but never did. wounder why ?
Forget figures. . .MOTUC got their Wind Raider today. I want vehicles. Must have a Bat- every vehicle (Batmobile -- lots of 'em, Batwing, Batplane, Batboat, Whirly Bat, Batcycle. . .). And a Javelin that seats at least 4.
I bet the first vehicle they do is Wonder Woman's invisible jet though. |
Assuming they did them justice, I'd be down for some 6" scaled vehicles. Most especially a batmobile. The one previous 6" scaled batmobile I know of looks absolutely horrible.
I would love a Batmobile, but that seems pretty unlikely. Toy lines don't sell the way they used to, and a product like that would only do well in retail during the holidays. I'd buy it though, haha.
No DCUC Batman could actually sit in a batmobile... with his plastic cape and all.

But I do have that 2003 Batmobile. The figures "fit" -- not very well, but the plastic is flexible enough that they can fit. Or. . .if they decide to make vehicles, they could re-use one of the existing molds and re-issue Batman and Robin with cloth capes. And you know how Mattel loves to reuse stuff. With a vehicle, I think they'd sell very well. They could offer a Super Friends Batmobile and reissue the wave 1 Batman and wave 16 Robin with cloth capes. Offer a 1989 movie Batmobile and reissue a cloth cape wave 10 Batman, and so on. Or figure out a way to design the vehicles to accommodate the plastic capes. |
I'd definately be down for cloth capes. I *really* don't like the plastic ones Mattel is hellbent on keeping. MMGL Morro is great with his cloth cape.
