Don't think Ps3 and PC can cross over :(
That's right, you can't. It's too bad, too. :/
Stupid is what it is. Oh well though. I probably wont be on tonight. Caught the flu and probably calling it an early night to get the bug out of my system. Tomorrow though =3, I hope..
How you feelin' tonight? Down for some DCUO action? :D I leveled like crazy so I'll have to use Tex instead of Tom today.
I may. Gotta see how head feels. Sinuses are killing me and all the flashes and movement of DCUO almost made me pass out when we failed at taking out Bizzaro XD
Oh man, you missed a great raid tonight in Smallville. LOL. Here's an after party shot. :p

That's so cool. I got to level 20 yesterday. Maybe get 30 today/tomorrow
Sweet, did you get to where you needed? :)
I made a Villain today. Terror Tuxedo. I love the Speed Force! And guns! Don't even get my started on Mental powers...holy hell.
Haha, I bet he looks just like my guy, Sir Swami. :p
Maybe haha. I got NHL 12 so my time is back and fourth between the 2 games. I love my hockey haha
You've got to bring him over to the Injustice Ring. LOL.
LOL. Dude I had an in-game Crisis on Two Earths last night. I logged in as my hero but was still somehow logged in as my villain and my tells were showing my villains name. It was like for those two hours, the hero and villain worlds were bridged through my bug. LOL. (Reason being, you can't normally message heroes as villains and vice versa)

this news has just broke!
DC Universe Online is becomming FREE to play from Oct!!!! Sony Online Entertainment has announced three access levels for DC Universe Online on the PlayStation 3 and PC that will go in effect late October: Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) today announced a new free-to-play business model for its popular massively multiplayer online (MMO) game DC Universe Online (DCUO) - where players have the freedom to become legendary, fighting alongside DC Comics icons like Superman, Batman and The Joker in an ever-evolving online action adventure that has seen players log more than 42 million hours of super-powered gameplay action since its launch earlier this year. Beginning late October, players will be able to download and access DCUO for free on both the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC. As part of this transition, SOE is introducing three new access levels to the game: Free, Premium and Legendary. All three levels will provide access to open world gameplay and missions, general game updates and fixes to the game, with each level offering different game options and benefits. "When we launched DC Universe Online, we introduced a very different brand of massive online game driven by fast action combat to PC and PS3™ gamers and with that, we discovered a new type of online gamer," said John Smedley, President, Sony Online Entertainment. "We've listened to our community, and we've determined that the free-to-play model is the best fit for DC Universe Online." Smedley added, "Our philosophy embraces learning from our experience and as a pioneer in the free-to-play space with proven successful games like Free Realms and Clone Wars Adventures, we believe this new model will expand the DCUO experience and offer more options that cater to every type of player so they can play the game in a way that fits them." All three levels provide access to the current game, but allow differing tiers of convenience and flexibility. The levels are: Free: New players will now have access to the current gameplay in DC Universe Online (including Gotham City, Metropolis, and all current raids and alerts), with the ability to create two characters, join a league and many other benefits. Free level players will be able to purchase downloadable game packs/updates, additional character slots, powers and more through microtransactions. Premium: Any player who has spent at least $5 USD (including former paid subscribers and new players who have purchased $5 of in-game items) will qualify for the Premium access level. Premium level players will have more benefits available to them than the Free level player, including additional character slots, additional inventory slots, and higher cash limits. Downloadable adventure packs, additional character slots, and more can be purchased in-game. Legendary: Maximum features and benefits are included at this level. Loaded with enhanced additional features, Legendary access will be available for a $14.99 USD monthly fee and includes all DLC packs at no cost, more than 15 character slots, more than 80 inventory slots, the ability to form unrestricted-sized leagues, and many other benefits. More information on the DCUO free-to-play access levels can be found here: DC Universe Online - Free to Play. DC Universe Online combines immersive environments and fascinating story arcs with fast-paced, physics-based combat, allowing players to pick up buses and other objects in the environment, fly into the air and throw them at enemies; run up the sides of buildings to engage in melee brawls while shooting flames of fire from their hands; or cling to the side of buildings while using a grappling hook to pull flying opponents out of the sky - all while fighting alongside or against the legendary characters of DC Comics and charting their own path to legendary. |
Well I am at least premium haha. I'll be Legendary until the new year. PRetty cool. NOW GET READY TO PLAY WITH US Jugg!
It's going free to play, but yeah certain things you'll have to pay for like the GL/Sinestro Corps expansion.
Does anyone here play this on a PC? I'm a 360 owner and don't want to get a whole new system just for one game, but everything I've read is that the PC way of playing blows.
i will get ready!!! im assuming i still have to pay like £30-40 for the actual disc though is that right??? although it says you can download it for free.... bit confusing.

I'm playing on the PC now. Initially I played on the ps3.. PC is WAY better. I'll play with you guys if you start up again!
I only play PC and never tried PS3. However serious PC gamers say its better for PC, and Ps3 junkies say PS3. It's all preference. For RPG games like that I like PC. I am not sure how well a controller hooked up to my computer will work, but maybe I'll give it a shot!
Let Thechris know too if you are PVE or PVP, US or Euro servers, and good or evil. He has a league on each one with characters and its all just for fun. Look forward to seeing you all there if you decide to play! |
Ill definitely be getting involved. Ill be on PS3 though. I just played Space Marine for the first time online actually. Pretty decent. I got annihilated but it was fun. I got atleast 1 kill LOL.
im ready for some justice league action come next month though!!! |
