Anyone see the new box design for the kid flash 6" figure? and the new 4" two packs?
the design on those boxes give some spoilers... lol (VAGUE SPOILERS) i dont know how to post spoilers on this thread but i will say you will see new characters, new designs, returning characters, etc. |
if anyone is interested, the last few episodes have been shown already in other parts of the world and have been leaked on youtube...
ive watched them all...and the ending will definitely...raise questions...lol i loved it, but im disappointed too... it was rushed and the ending left me wanting more..i cannot wait for season 2 lol |
now im curious.. wanna spill the beans about the ending? :p
|
If you do, please do so in PMs.

I'm glad you felt that way about the ending making you want more. It's what all endings to a season should do. The show has been solid thus far and I'm curious to see where it goes. It was awesome to hear them refer to Batman and Robin as the dynamic duo!

well now that the episode has airred and the identity of the traitor is revealed...what does everybody think about the traitor?
I felt it was such a cop out. Very disappointed with the reveal of the traitor. It was kinda obvious because the person that always instigate and does the finger pointing usually is the guilty party. Next weeks episode will show how it all conspired, which was even more disappointing, the whole traitor story was a major let down for me...but that's next week... on a side note, im so glad that there werent be a break and that they're jumping right into season 2 the week after season 1 finale (which they should after all the hiatuses and breaks they put us through!) |
The traitor revelation wasn't anything major. To me, it felt like how the kids played the mole conspiricy to make a major attack on Luthor was what hit home. That was pretty nice.

I'm looking forward for the Red Arrow storyline, im sure they're going to have the real Roy follow the Rise of Arsenal storyline since he is missing his arm in the pod at Cadmus and have him team up with Cheshire. Since Sportsmaster is captured, Cheshire does need a new partner and she and Roy does work together in Rise of Arsenal after he loses his arm...so... |

Glad to see Cassie! Although, with the dissappointment that Speedy, Robin and Kid Flash are Roy, Dick and Wally, I too was expecting and hoping that Wondergirl would be Donna.
Also dissappointed that Blue Beetle is Jamie, and not Ted. Nothing against Jamie, but kinda getting a little tired of this odd mix. They keep telling us they chose Dick and Wally because this "is a young universe," which screws up a lot of the modern Teen Titan dynamics they're trying to go for. And then they throw Cassie and Jamie into the mix, which throws things off balance, even further. That's the only real complaint I have about the series as a whole. Either go with the older characters, or the newer ones. Still, it's really nice to see Cassie get animation time. (Not that Donna ever really did). I'm half expecting to see Kyle Rayner show up, if not outright join the team next season. One thing I'd hoped for a good while since the beginning, that realized would never happen the closer it got to the end, is that Roy would put together his own team, the Titans, with Cyborg, Raven, Beastboy, and Starfire. Maybe a couple of the others, like Donna |
I think Dick should do that instead of Roy... i also want to point out that in the trailer, the Robin was using a Bo Staff (Tim's signature weapon) and not the eskrima sticks (like Dick used in today's episode)...
is it possible that Tim is now the Robin and Dick is off being Nightwing or something? I also noticed that a lot of the current team have not been shown in ANY trailer (Zatanna, Rocket, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Artemis)...of course that doesnt necessarily mean anything...but there absence is a tad bit worrying... |

My thought behind Roy forming the titans, is more that Dick is engrossed in the Team, and he's not even in charge of it. Roy however was so put off by the Justice League, and disguisted at his friends for beibg drafted into what he felt was a bogus team... that forming the Titans at the time seemed exactly like something he'd do. Trying to rival both the Team, and the League. On a side note, if it weren't for the DC reboot, I wonder if they'd have started to use Artimus Crock more. Or would the reboot make it more likely of having her show up in a simular fasion to her YJ role? |

I understand why they did it and I don't mind Wally as I prefer him as my Flash, just like Kyle as my GL. I wish they had used Tim for Robin as it just seems more like Tim to me but it wouldn't make sense with the others they picked. I don't know if we'd see Kyle but maybe it could make sense as he doesn't seem to be a Lantern yet since the other three are clearly known. Maybe he gets a ring and because he is new they stick him on the team. Also, just finished watching the latest episode. Great stuff. Can't wait to see what's next. |
Young Justice Movies:
The recent DC Animated release was "Justice League: Doom," and over-all it's a bit of a letdown. However, when I look at it as though it's set in the YJ continuity, it clicks in ways it doesn't as a stand alone (I know it's not, so don't jump me. :P ) Brought this up somewhere else before, and it seemed at least a few others agreed with me that it worked better when one looks at it from that angle. So that got me thinking. Should DC Animated movies continue to be stand alones, or whould WB start making them as background stories for the Young Justice continuiet? Basically, start forging an entire comprehensive new Animated Universe based around YJ, the way they did with the old DCAU? My only real dissapointment with the new Green Lantern series (Aside from it being CGI), is that it's not attatched to the same continuity as YJ. |
I dont know if anyone noticed but the film JLD (Justice league doom) was before the new epsiode Alud Aquaintes or something like that cause i noticed the kryptonite bullet from the film

I want it to be, and aside from Cyborg's absense from YJ, it works in continuity and the two don't contradict one another, but it isn't. My question is, would people prefer the movies to continue to be stand alone, or would people like to see them all form a new comprehensive DCAU along with YJ. |
