The first four chapters of The Ultimates is well worth a read... After that, the stories started to go off the rails a little. Haven't read anything since Ultimatum, and even before that they'd screwed up Hawkeye a lot.

I really hope this movie is good but just from the teaser I am almost feeling it is predictable. I really hope it proves me wrong.

When was the last time you said to yourself, "Wow, I didn't see that one coming."?

I think it looks incredible. I knew from the beginning of it's conception I would love this movie. I just really hope it doesn't disappoint like IM2.

And I think in regards to the predictable comment, that comes from reading spoilers and reading about all that's going on with the film. When you finally see it or any previews of it, it feels like you knew what was coming......because you knew what was coming. Get it?

I doubt this movie is going to have a story resembling a Shakespearian epic... Epic threat appears, good guys get together, they scuffle, then they unite to save the world (IE, New York) and probably set us up for a sequel... I have no problem with this though!

I'm scared it wasn't going to have a good story either. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

it has to have a good story because the story is taken from the comic books.

Its not as if some writer who knows nothing about the genre has been asked to make a up a new story in a world where every story has already been told.

i wouldnt worry about the story itself, just how they adapt it and what they cut from it and how they change it is my concern.
