My LCS charged $10.99 for MU figures, regardless of who the figure is and how it is distributed.

Dude, I wish I had your LCS. Most around here charge at least $13 per figure, if not more. And they don't exactly stock often.

personally, i feel letting threads go off topic (slightly) is ok from time to time because, in actuality, many of us utilize threads like RL conversations, which inherently by nature can be topically random.

I do think they'll hit retail...eventually.

Right now there's so much comic packs clogging the pegs that you cant blame stores for not stocking the new stuff!

I'm actually kind of glad that MU is slow to restock around here. Gives me a chance to catch up on some of the older releases that I missed when they were first out.

This thread is meant to cover anything regarding MU: hauls, release dates, pics, general discussion about the toys, etc.

But only MU. No other Marvel lines. The 3.75" thread covers all Marvel lines in that scale, including MU.

Going off-topic once in a while is fine (contrary to popular belief). As you said, normal conversations tend to meander a little here and there before getting back on topic or changing topics altogether. Tangents only becomes an issue when the thread isn't brought back on-topic on its own (gets dereailed) or members are posting only off-topic stuff (spamming).

Walmart went to $5 MU to clear out old stock and just went back to the higher pricing again in time for the new product to be put out. Just means we're closer to getting restocked. Target's matching them, probably for the same reason.

yeah, its tough. bright spots are my online and RL collector buddies that help out. i try and do the same since west coast has a tendency to get stuff first, at times... but yeah, plenty of competition out in the wild.

Oh ya most def. That and the distance of the drive plus traffic, will most likely force me to just get what I want on Ebay if I had to relocate to LA.

eBay is a crap shoot. i 'watch' a lot of auctions but only snipe last second if the price is right. again, online forums/making friends is the best way to go out here.

eBay prices do not always reflect how i value figs, so i exercise caution on the site when buying.

So these are coming out soon? I passed on black widow before, I think i'd get her now. Havoc, archangel, dark hawkeye. That's just awesome. More stuff to hunt for!

Sadly enough, Archangel was one I passed on. I got death instead because I thought he looked cooler. Definitely kicking myself in the ass on that one.
