Er...i think this question would go here...if its not too late

for the Justice League Unlimited Fan Collection...will we ever see the release of the future JLU team(Warhawk/Aquagirl/Green Lantern(Kai-ro)/Big Barda/Batman (Terry Mcginnis)?

cinemajay 03-15-2010 10:33 AM

So Matty, when will we see another release of Moss Man? Will we need to wait another 2,3 or 6 months for him to sell out in a minute again?

What about lowering the cap on the number of figures to two? 10 seems to cater to the ebay scalpers.

Snowflakian 03-15-2010 12:24 PM

With the success of MOTUC, will we see other properties revitilized like thundercats?

With She-Ra coming in MOTUC, can we expect to see a 2k series She-Ra to be considered for release someday? Or does the swappable head for her count as that?

Could we ever see a TRU exclusive variants of She-Ra, Hordak, and King Grayskull sold as a three pack at Toys R Us? (hint, hint.)

Cinemajay, actually, that question was answered elsewhere on March 1.

"1. Battle Cat & Trap Jaw both sold out in a record amount of time and due to multiple technical issues many MOTUC fans are feeling left out in the cold because they couldn’t get their figures. After 14 months of operation, something needs to be done. One popular idea is to limit the number of figures people can buy at a time, for example making the limit two instead of ten. Is this at all possible or are fans out of luck until the re-release?

Matty: Actually, very few customers are buying more than two figures. We want to keep the ten options for those international customers who requested this to help with shipping."

Altogether now...mmm hmm Riiiiight. :)

OttoDestruct 03-15-2010 01:46 PM

Why do they even answer questions?

To quote The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Ghost Story 03-15-2010 01:54 PM

The new three packs with cyborg, plastic man, Captains Boomerang and Cold and Metallo are out but do not seem to be in wide release. Were thes under produced becasue the are currently on ebay for $100 or more.

Should we expect to goto the secondary market for these or should we soon be seeing a glut of them like the super friends pack?

This question was answered (well, addressed anyway) in the March 1st round of answers right here on ToyArk.

Toyark.com: Considering Mattel's relationship with Warner Brothers/DC Comics, might it be possible for Mattel to acquire toy licenses of other popular properties now owned by Warner Brothers, such as Thundercats and Silverhawks?
Mattel: Sorry, we can't comment on the acquisition of new properties.
At least they know the fans are interested.

Questions are due NOW!

KingYuk 04-01-2010 08:24 AM

For DCUC:

Any chance of selling re-painted Collect-N-Connect figures solo or as a (dare I say it) 2-pack? I LOVE the new CnC Darkseid but REALLY want him in his modern color scheme. Maybe a 2-pack with Superman? Maybe a muddy Solomon Grundy? Battle damaged Metallo? Just a thought.

Super_Megatron 04-16-2010 06:58 AM

No questions?

firmpulse 04-16-2010 08:33 AM

MOTUC

do you currently have any plans to release ninjor, jitsu, or fisto?

i think i can answer your question
Mattel-We can not reveal any plans as of yet but we will try to make as many characters as possible eventually.

Any questions?

mattymatt 06-05-2010 11:57 PM

With Avatar the movie being such a big success but the toy line not selling as well as hoped; are there plans to continue the line, Release new product like maybe the lab play set or hometree etc, if not i will gladly take the stocks from your wharehouse off of your hands

Again with Avatar will there be an enhanced marketing campaign in order to sell the product left remaining? those amp suits are amazing

DarkArtist 10-19-2010 05:30 AM

The Ghostbusters Line is awesome and I eagerly await each new figure in the line. While I love the super detailed 6" & 12" figures of the ghost bashing boys, I was wondering if Matty has considered adding a new scale of 3.75" figures with perhaps a certain 1959 Cadillac Ambulance accessory? I think the 3.75" format would be great to see and might be a launching point to return to retail. Any hope of seeing Ghostbusters shrink down to this format?

Batman has evolved into many different lines, different outfits and has a rogues gallery unmatched in the history of toys. We were treated to various Batman lines but was wondering if Matty had an thoughts on reinventing the toy line into a 3.75" format with perhaps various Batman figures ranging from comics, cartoons, movies and the 60's TV show along with their signature Batmobiles and bat gadgets as well as various villians and sidekicks?

jimster2010 10-19-2010 08:55 AM

What are the chances of other DC Characters getting their own spin off line similiar to that of Green Lantern Classics?

Outside of Batman, or Teen Titans... I'm not sure there's any other DC property that *could* support a full, independant spinoff line, like GL can.
It would be nice to see a few one offs, that consist of one or two waves.
It would be nice to see a dedicated Flash wave, or dedicated Green Arrow wave, though.
So, I would like to add to your question.

If no dedicated full lines, Like Green Lantern Classics, is there any possibilities that we may see future waves dedicated to a single Comic Property, such as Flash, Wonder Woman, or Green Arrow, filled with villains and supporting cast from the dedicated character?

(This is a several month dead thread, BTW.)

It is but we are still taking questions and participating:
Ask Matty October 15th Answers

Crazy Jetty 10-20-2010 06:07 AM

Okay. Here's MY genuine question.
Matty,
Why is the less iconic "Classic costume" Sinestro being reissued, when the figure had been already widely available and relatively easy to find already, instead of reissuing the iconic and imposisble to find Sinestro Corps Sinestro?

Honestly though, that figure was not widely available nor relatively easy to find in my experience. I only saw it once IIRC. Hell that wave was hard to find.

Crazy Jetty 10-20-2010 01:52 PM

It's the only one I ever saw from that wave. Anywhere.
Guess you could barily find him because he was clogging selves with me.

mda0331 11-19-2010 09:31 PM

Is there a chance Mattel will make the 'Super Powers' logo figure stands available for purchase on the web site? I would love to have a bunch for my DCU update figures.

mda0331 11-21-2010 10:46 PM

Are we going to see a DCUC Samurai and a Super Powers style Mr. Feeze in the near future?

Shin Densetsu 03-01-2011 10:58 AM

Post questions for the next round!
