;), I jest B.... looks REALLY great, I'm waiting on my Paul's R Us order to make it across the pond! Love how Ant Man is all laid back like he is waiting on a beer or something. Nice posing! |
thanks man! its makes it more interesting and more human to have them like that instead of just standing there. it adds character.

is it Avatar??

LOL..took me a minute to figure why u posted this...I was referring to the Holodeck up top with all the Aim soldiers just trying to figure where the detailing came from |

if I was to clone this wave setup with another successful wave, here's my picks. Emma Frost, Captain Marvel, New Buck Vision, Executioner, Agent Venom, and the rerelease would be Flame On Human Torch |

I did write up a review of them on another board if you guys want an honest review.

Here you go:
Ares: Ok. Lets start with him. Extremely well built. Very sturdy. Its been mentioned all around the boards already that he cant hold his sword. Very true. His axe howevor is a thing of beauty. His skull paint/decal/whatever is well done and no blemishes. his armor is raised off the chest so that it looks like armor and not jsut painted on his bare chest. There is even rivet detail on the shoulder straps. as im writing this review hovevor, he just pulled an omega red on me and his arm popped off his shoulder piece. It clicks back on, yeah, but its something i can live with. The bad though? the face. His eyes have no pupils and the best explanation i can find for his expression is that he looks like he just tasted something sour. Cyclops: He is what ill refer as the "boring" one of the wave. Hes built on the revolutionary buck that we saw when the 90s cyke debuted three years ago. The paint apps are fantastic though with the gold being all sparkly. Its a nice upgrade to the astonishing xmen cyke we recieved back during the XMO toy line. Ant-Man: Aside from the lacm of antennae and the H thing thats supposed to be on his waist, he is spot on for 1960s Ant Man. The front face of the helmet feels like it wants to come off, and is clearly two pieces. He also has the strangest choice of articulation. He was all the articulation that yellowjacket has but they added a thigh cut. very strange. But they clearly wanted a lanky fella, and thats what we got. Deathlock: Interesting kitbash of cable and colossus. the paint is great. the bad part that i can see is his knee pads that'll keep his legs from being perfectly straight. His backpack actually stays on tight which is a miracle. I was worried about that. Oh, and there is room to mod his backpack to add a hose. There is a protruding nipple where a rubber tube can be added. i wish his rifle could clip onto the backpack like we could do with cable. Valkyrie: Her headsculpt is awesome and i LOVE her braids detail. Hair does not inhibit neck movement. For once im not afraid to move her arms in fear of scarlet witch syndrome. Knees are a tad wobbly but whatever. Sword does a good job of staying in her hands but the sword in general feels rubbery as fuck. Similar deal with black knights butterknife of a sword. The best of the wave though...............Im caught between ares and deathlock. both are kickass figures. |
bravo...great review!!! i ordered the same 5, but ordered a giant man baf piece at the same time so i will have to wait a few extra days.... BEST review i have read so far!!!!!
|
hah, thanks man!

Nice mini-reviews! Deathlok is the winner for me, I've wanted him from the beginning. |
