Yeah they are for 5" figures, but most 5" scale vehicles, and such are under scaled. So they might work.

About 30 minutes left guys if you haven't gotten your last orders for June in get them in. I'll be closing, and then heading down to the workshop at midnight.
|
Well guys I closed the store a little while ago, hope you all got what you needed for now, and I can't wait to get reopened for you all again in August.

Good looking out on that Indy horse.... I am definitely going World Peace Keepers now! That castle is here in front of at 7:22am Sunday morning...looks nice. We have some Playmobil pieces to go with it and it will look cool. Gonna find a ML Doom and paint it to look like a stone statue. I thought, but more than likely won't, about (if and when they go BUY ONE GET ONE FREE) the assemblers and put just his face (cutting.the 'back' of the head away) and painting it to match.the stone like they did on castles. We will.see on that one.
I am a sucker for a playset! Almost every team needs a vehicle or a playset...even better than a diorama! |
I bought a lot of MU and thought I was getting the TRU 3 pack yellow Dare Devil with it. However it is date stamped 2006 and has MU articulation except the torso is hinged like legends. Anybody know what he from?

Thanks ESN, is it worth anything, I'm not interested in keeping it?

Overall I'd say it's better than the TRU version which had that squat barrel chested body. If the joints are tight on the SHS one then even better since it's basically a mini ML with the amount of useful articulation. Only things slightly in favor of the MU one are nunchaku, a slightly more striking paint deco for me, and being very sturdy.

Hey folks, kinda random question but since most of the figures I'm talking about are 3.75, figured I'd ask it here... I'm starting to move my loose and MOC fodder figures into my outdoor storage/work shed (it's a nice quality wooden one, not a tin roof jalopy... lol), but the temps in the shed right now during summer are hitting around 110F midday; just wondering if the figures would be okay at that temp if they're not in direct sunlight at all? Advice appreciated... =)
http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uplo...81_1165183.jpg Besides working in my shed, also threw together a Count Nefaria for my collection. My Avengers figures are quaking in their boots right now: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uplo...580_690626.jpg |
I wouldn't leave them in that room with that kind of heat
|
I live in south central Texas and two weeks ago my AC broke (just an awful weekend), and the temperature in the room with my figures averaged around 94. Not quite as hot, and not MOC, but it did have small effects on some of my other figures (non MU). I wouldn't recommend keeping 'em out there.

UMZ,since storage is your issue...NOT using the shed is not an option, it would seem. Perhaps look into cooling options on the hot days....just keep a large box fan on them when it is that hot, summer heat waves USUALLY dont got on for too long. Also, winter will be just as bad. Just try your best to maintain a temperature that isnt too extreme either way. Since they are your FODDER pieces... get your ass in gear, pull your finger out and get more customs done!!! Also, put up some trades... I am sure some arkers need what you got. Trade the figures, and park your lawnmower in there bro! ;)

what are you doing get them out of the shed!!!!
|
Hey if that A.I.M and baroness figure want a nice cool place to hangout they can come over my house ;-)
|
I actually had most of my collection in a shed for a couple of years, granted I live in MD, but it didn't hurt them at all.

I remember a story where skrulls explained that all their inpersonations of Pym failed because they couldn't handle his heroic persona, so they all got crazy and failed, or something like that. |

Goldengreg....
There is a fellow Frenchman asking a question about Marvel Secret Wars figures. He just posted under HELP WITH MARVEL... thought if anyone could help, it would be you. Au revoir |
Also Zoffy.... we kept our Grandma in a shed for months before she died of neglect and malnutrition...I am sure some plastic from Hasbro will see it through until October......
