I'm pretty sure its the series one figure. I think this one will be my cartoon style Cap and i'll get a more movie esque one for my movie avengers. Probably just paint the wings on myself unless i can find a cheap Cap with the wings for a head swap. Need a Cap stand anyway

Thats the one I have. One of my favorites. If youre into group poses. Just try putting two guys on the same stand. I hugn up a lot of my flying figures so I have a few stands laying around. I'm fixin to buy some random stands as well. Think optimus vader linked a great site

Its some puddy stuff that will help stand up your figures (or whatever else you have) where it should hold them up for displaying purposes. If you prefer actually having the display stands to add to the collectible display look then the ones that you can find from Optimus Vader sites is good too.

I've found that it helps for the following reasons (I'm sure some of us have run into these issues with displaying figures):

1) Its great to use for action poses and battle scenes
2) Add a little bit of it to the figure's hands so that they can hold weapons or accessories better
3) Good for larger figures like ML Apocalypyse, MU Galactus, MU Sentinel so that you won't come home one day and find one of these guys falling over and taking out your whole collection.
4) Its cheap and you only need a little bit for most 3.75 MU characters.
5) Comes off clean and easy.

Downsides
1) I find re-using the quake hold looses its stick after awhile, especially when the dust starts to build up around the figure display.

I saw it long ago. I also like the look of the Hulk. But that's mainly because of the hair.

Awesome. The face does look off a bit. I am liking what's behind hulk with scarlet black widow. NICEEEEEE. This puts Hathaway's catwoman costume to shame.

Very nice. Makes you wonder why they don't use more black on the figures to begin with...

I love to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was a new collector, or has collectors in his family and he's an awesome gift-giver!

I. Am. An Asshole. :)

That's THE BEST. I pulled out a Deadpool/Taskmaster from hiding I found and gave it to a person perusing the comic packs. That felt good.

We managed to get the unknown Thor variant here as well.

Variant you say? I'd say it's still unknown here. Wanna tell us about it?

Awesome! Thanks for telling us where it was. I've been scoping Walmarts all week and not finding anything there. Now I know where to look.

Flatscan 12-02-2011 08:37 PM

Well, here are the unheard-of variants that I've encountered at my local TRU which I'm sure is similar to those in Singapore since our TRU supplier runs from there.

The set that it was displayed as were these two figs as well as the new head variant Wolverine [Xavier Institute] as well as Extremis Iron Man.

I'm one of those 'in the box' kinda collectors so I can't really tell which details make it a variant but the notable ones are the blue linings on thor's costume and blue lightning like paintscheme on the hammer.

My guess is that they were leftover thors that were repainted to resemble the SDCC11 Marvel Legends exclusive Thor but then again, based on assumption. Haven't gotten any real word on it but when I told my fellow collectors here, they were sold out at TRU.

As for Cap, he's just gotten a brighter blue now compared to the previously released one.

How long after HTS charges your card do they usually ship your items? I purchased the new 2 packs and stupid me, I checked out as a guest and have no email trace. They just charged my card yesterday and I ordered it on the 18th of November.

I wouldn't worry about too much because I'm in the same boat too. I ordered mine on the 18th and they sent me the email confirmation on Wednesday saying that they shipped my order. However, the tracking number they gave me says nothing on the usps site. So now I'm just waiting. The bright side is I guess that I don't have to go hunt for them and actually do some christmas shopping for other people instead of myself.

Daaamn....love that Thor and classic Cap!!! I would buy these instantly but those bone heads at Hasbro are too busy bringing out shitty repackaged figures on lightup bases that cost only $20. Shelf warming? an understatement.

Some MU, some not, hates ganna hate.

I uploaded an album. It's all my MU figures. Some of the pictures didn't come out that great. My camera is picky about lighting and depth of field. but overall i'm happy. Hope you guys like it

Tiberius 12-02-2011 10:31 PM

Sure is. My friend forgot his Shockers at home, uhg. So he grabbed the thing next to his bed [Ghost Rider] for some figures.

Good Stuff 12-02-2011 10:36 PM

I was dead set that I'd skip any version of Wolverine that came out from Hasbro's ass but that Astonishing has grown on me...must go hunting tomorrow...

Tiberius 12-02-2011 10:37 PM
