I found one in Chicagoland Way up North in Lake Villa. They had 3 i took one. that was 2 weeks ago haven't seen them since.

Daredevil has proved to be elusive for me as well, although I've run into plenty of HulkBuster and a few Rhino wave figures as of late, as well as some of the older Black Series (Boush Leia, Cody, IG88) that I missed out on.
|
I saw DD maybe twice on the pegs total. Still have sloe Boussh Leias and just got in IG88s again
|
I have yet to see any in NY. I really want that Daredevil.

Just bought the EE Guardians boxset. And by bought I mean I somehow ended up with $250 worth of Amazon points so I basically got the set for free.
It's an excellent set, especially considering that I didn't own any of the previous comic book versions of the characters in the set. Tons of accessories and it's just nice to have a full team here. The figures are well-executed and now I have a cosmic cube for my Thanos. I'm more than impressed. |
On a related note to SymbiSpidey's purchase (nice grab btw!), starting with the SDCC Vishanti set, I've recently had an odd compulsion to collect as many of the recent boxsets as possible specifically to have a "display only" set for my collection room... I've gone back and bought a double of sets I already owned (ex. TRU All New X-Men), and have been compelled to buy the new releases like the latest exclusives with no immediate intention of opening them... I'm definitely not going MOC for every single figure I buy, but I think the Vishanti set really got me appreciating how nice the box set figures look grouped together in package, whereas before I would just pop the figures out and have at it.
Outside of the obvious MOC collectors, anyone else into keeping their box sets together? I mean, I still open them up and play around with the figures, but rather than put the figures out on my shelves like I've done till now, I'm putting them back in the boxes right after and displaying them that way. Just a new thing for me I guess since I have so much stuff out on my shelves! |
Zoffy, I will display my box set guys but when I change up my display, the box set people go back in the box. I don't always keep the box itself, but as of late I have been. Especially the SDCC set from this year. That's a beautiful box.

Finally got my Marvel Unlimited package in the mail. Rescue is pretty amazing. On the lookout for a good Pepper head now!

OHHH..this is legends size?!?!..i thought it was 3.75 |
@Zoffy
Actually yeah, when it comes to the box sets, I have not opened a single one. I can see the Vishanti box, Ant-Man and the EE Guardians boxes along with my DC Blackest Night box calling to me from the top of my comic cabinet. My Thanos Imperative set is on top of my chest of drawers in my room. The boxes just look great and I know if I open the sets I will be tempted to pitch the boxes which I want to keep. Leaving the figures inside prevents me from doing so LOL. I am actually shocked I have not opened the Guardians set. Almost everything else I buy gets opened eventually. The only other things I still have in the box are a couple of my newest Legends and my set of Firefly figures. |
I only have two boxsets (GotG and SDCC Vishanti). I usually leave my figures on the shelf/desk with the rest of my Legends, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea to put them into the box when I'm not taking photos with them. Perhaps when I have more space to display the boxes LOL
But yeah, I remember buying the Vishanti set at Comic-Con and being super impressed. This year was my first SDCC so the Vishanti boxset has some sentimental value for me. |

So what's everyone's thoughts on the the new pics that have emerged today with the new figures being released? besides the fact that i might want to get quite a few, im thinking we might get a wave prior to the year ending maybe.
Also someone stated that there was a X-men wave and now a Hulk wave being released? any credible info or link to that ? |

Over on that other toy forum (it's called Massengill or something like that...) they had an interview or podcast with one of the Hasbro big wigs or something like that where they stated that the upcoming Rogue figure that was unveiled was to be a part of an upcoming X-Men wave that was supposed to have a "large BAF". As for a Hulk wave...that's news to me. First I've heard of it...though it would be nice to get a couple updated Abomination figures. And dammit Hasbro, I had no desire to go after Red Onslaught, until you showed off that Rogue with classic Onslaught head. Now you've got me cinched into the wave. Sigh. I like newer packaging, but I would still prefer they go with clamshells to prevent random thefts and BAF part swaps. I'm kinda hoping that they don't release them before the year is out though. I'm still trying to hunt down certain figures, and with all the stuff coming out from other lines just before Christmas (Star Wars, Transformers, etc...) it would just be too much. I think it might actually hurt Hasbro to release them before the year is out, as they will only end up self cannibalizing their other products during the holiday season... |

i thought based on the pic of rogue that was floating around recently that she would be in the captain America wave? if i recall correctly she was going to come with an Onslaught head. |
Never heard about this Hulk wave
