Good grab. My suggestion is to army build about 3-5 deep. Even the chitauri, they look cool around Thanos get the 5 pack from China. Same with Blonsky add different hair color and some beards, instant cannon fodder for your bad guys

Only one was left of the skrull. He looks good not sure if I want start army building though

Listen to samsson about the shows... A.A. is better left to alcoholism. I watched four and half.minutes of one episode and vowed never to stain my eyes with its existence ever again. To quote Comic Book Guy, worst show eh-vehr.

I.was unaware of its 'mixed-up-itness' on.the DVD. For some.reason NETFLIX UK doesn't have it, I think it is in a contract.with a network.here maybe. I googled it and apparently different regions get different stuff due to both legal reasons and some executive board meeting deciding what they think a regional audience may or may not like.

Army build 3-5 deep???? Do you kiss your mother with that filthy mouth!?!?!?! Listen MOSTWANTED, you want to army build to 15 deep at a minimum. 30 is the perfect number though for a specific type of soldier. An army is made up of much more than just one type of.soldier though.. 3-5 is a good number for a picnic, but not for an army. How can you take overthrow the balance and claim.the living room.in the name of Red Skull with so.few? And I thought we were mates samsson!!! ;) I can't recommend army building enough, it is a great way to miss out on new figures and be poor. Nothing beats getting that 17th figure just like the last 16 because you know it is a LONG road now. Very very anti-climatic when your new figure arrives. Usually it is exciting getting a figure in the post, when it is an army builder in the middle of your desired number goal, it is just another one. One step closer though, and that is why we do it. Kind of dumb in a.way, but we aim to have BEST and BIGGEST army of HYDRA ever assembled. Between S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA, we have well more than 100 figures. You find ways of getting cheap figures.to act as 'filler' and made up little units for special.tasks. We.even got guys that specific duty is to hold a HYDRA flag....four of them in fact. If there is an action figure hell...I m living in it! ;)

Thanks.for.the info Psycho Pirate....also I spy with my little eye a BRANCH BASH GROOT and a headless HYDRA goon. A sad day indeed.... ;) I actually have a HYDRA goon without a head. So I got a Union Jack from China for like 3.25 shipped and use it. You can hardly tell.that it is a navy coloured balaclava instead of green, but it is what it is. Anyway, if you don't need it, I could use a little head myself. ( I like this game of innuendo and sexual references) I have like ten MU stands I don't need if you want them, or something else. If you need his noggin no worries. I still am in love with the Valinor by the way. Hopefully every mother arker here is now inspired to make one as well!!!

I passed on this set all the time bitd, and finally decided I wanted the samurai figure. Couldn't find it anywhere of course, but lucked out and found it online for $9 shipped free from New Zealand. Who knew that this would be such an awesome comic pack? lol... Samurai is probably my favorite figure in the whole line now, and Patch Wolverine is great as well. SCORE.

That said.... does anyone have spare CHITAURI COSMIC CHARRIOTS? Only have one but would LOVE 3-5 of them in total. (I know, I get the irony of the 3-5 number I JUST went on a rant about) I'm just trying to.get some Chitauri foot soldiers up in the air. Just need a few though, I'm not Joss Wheadon shooting in NYC.

If you have one or two or more for cheap, I have the BEST trades available. Good rare stuff, not just the latest unwanted figures or Gladiators, Namors and Kitty Pride type bst. PM me when you have time, maybe between sandwiches, with any news!

EDIT.... @UMZ.... dude! I just got that figure two days ago.and he is what the kids call, amaze-balls! Top five for sure! Maybe one.of the best, most comic accurate figure out there. I had no idea how bulky and perfect his paint was!!!

That got me.thinking..... what are other hidden gems of.the line? Got a.favourite obscure figure? Maybe someone you have passed on over and over and finally got it and was blown away. As good of a.conversion starter as any other I guess. Tired of reading about poor Janet getting the pimp hand. Post your favourites then.... maybe we can convince some people.who.are.on the fence or get some lurkers to chime in or just stroll down memory lane if you.have all(or nearly all) of Hasbro's Marvel goodies. Usually we.just focus on the. downers of bad articulation, or poor case.assortment, or lack of whoever.to complete a team.... let's share some.love now.

Yeah I passed on that pack a couple of times, and then finally picked it up, SS is cool and having a Patch well shoot that's a great variety on the Wolverine figure, we'll probably never get again.

bmorr 07-02-2014 03:01 PM

To me, SS is still the contender for best MU ever.

NoodleChow 07-02-2014 03:12 PM

He's definitely up there in my Top 5-10.

Perfect sculpt, paint, articulation, and the fact I haven't stopped messing around with him since I got to work... I totally agree with you. =)

Well, I remember before we were talking about obscure characters who got figures, and I'd say my favorite is still Darkhawk. One of my favorite characters, and a good toy (not one of the best, but good), the only way they could've done Darkahwk better is if he had thigh swivel too. I suppose another figure that I saw sit for a while without anyone showing interest was the Scarlet Spider, not a highly demanded figure I imagine, but with all of his pose and new accessories/clothes he stands as one of the best Spider-Man figures in this line or any (in scale mind you).

xMostWanted559x 07-02-2014 04:18 PM

For EMH check animeflavor.com
3-5 ...I was giving him a hopeful number..we know once he starts he will fall into the void like the rest of us
I'm glad I grabbed Sunfire and Guardian/captain Britain both under rated
No there isn't a 3.75 pyro

Thanks. I did not take any WIP pics on Valinor this time. The holes are basically slots cut to match the width of the wing "blade." One one side, the slot is right next to a depression for a screw hole (hey now!) giving it a keyhole appearance. But the other side is just a slot.

For Aragorn, it is much easier. A simple hole the size of Angel's wing peg:

What size drill bit did you use?

ChuckSass 07-02-2014 10:18 PM

Gosh

She hulk, Mohawk storm, commander Rogers and bag man.

ukmu 07-02-2014 11:54 PM

I have yet to get Darkhawk. He is on my Avengers list, but way down on it. Think he will be my next now! I like Secret Wars Hulk a lot myself. Some folks bag on him, but his colour is awesome. My son says Drax is his favourite figure, but not his favourite character, that goes to Hawkeye. My overall favourite is Arachne though. She just jumps out in collection pics to me.

Nice list Bmorr! And finally, looks like.Kernel is gonna make an Aragorn...awesome! @Kernal and Nymesis Pryme.... the mailer tubes.are.here.today, so I will post them out Friday or Saturday!!!!
