Hey the Gods and Monsters Wonder Woman technically doesn't belong in those last pics. She's neither an Amazonian nor Diana, she's her world's version of Bekka. She is a Wonder Woman but it's different, I forget if the movie showed us but I do wonder now what was up with the Amazonians in that world? Did they just go undiscovered by the rest of the world or something?

Hey if anyone is looking for those MattyCollector Watchmen figures (I don't know if anyone is at this point) but Check your GameStops I just got Rorschach and Nite Owl there. It's strange seeing them didn't even know they would make it to stores
|
One lone Hawkman at Walmart, the shark evades capture!!!!
|
Another waste of gas and time,2 Targets,1TRU and 3 Walmarts later, still no sign of the Great White!
|
No sign of the KingShark Multiverse here- but it was awesome to get all of the WonderWoman set AND be able to complete the BAF with just four figures. Guess that kills the thought of a WW wave 2 or they would have split the BAF up like the did KC for the SuicideSqaud sets...

Since my stores are all passing on the King Shark wave for the WW wave I just nabbed Joker on Amazon for $20 prime.
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...pszmps4h8a.jpg http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...psmrqbdvm5.jpg I feel like this is the best figure I've ever owned from Mattel. He actually has paint details on the face(s) like they knew collectors wanted it. The only thing that brings this figure down is Mattel's conservative articulation approach. The head swaps out easy and well, the batarang fits into the eye-slit tightly, and he can hold both accessories very well (though only one at a time). More of the Multiverse figures should share this level of quality but then that would require Mattel to give a damn which it sadly seems like they often don't. |

Been dying to get my hands on Joker and King Shark, but nowhere around me has been stocking any DC stuff. Just started seeing WW Multiverse stuff. |
The Killer Shark wave would be much more tempting if they had done diferent characters in the place of Hawkman and Jay. Hawkgirl and the spoilerific character shown to us in the Flash season 2 finale would have been much better choices imho.

It's also, as far as I've seen, not an exclusive. |

http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...pstk1ofnqt.jpg http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...psa94hpwkg.jpg I was surprised Gamestop got these, they used to be subscription exclusives and they're four years old now. Anyway I'm glad I stumbled on 'em. |
That is definitely an interesting find.

Edit: I did some searching and found out what the cyborg they had was. It was the Total Heroes SDCC Cyborg, I guess people could buy it through Matty sort of like how HasbroToyShop offers limited quantities of their exclusives. So I'd say that Gamestop got it when they got the other Matty stuff. I find it very weird how everything that was Matty exclusive seems to have the "adult collector" label, even that Cyborg. The Watchmen stuff I understand because the source material is not suitable for children, it's an adult oriented book. But the Total Heroes Cyborg? It's clearly a play oriented child-friendly toy (minus choking hazards). |
Wouldnt mind finding a comedian. Anyone have bat creatures and rick flaggs they dont want?
