yeah but with rouge they kept the character to make it exciting we're giving her a new body mold because you've seen the modern look we're changing it to a more classic well known look.
APOC seems to be the one , its linked to the film okay so redskull onslaught isn't for civil war but were getting a wave 2 movie wave
Strong Guy and Sauron feels like a jubliee BAF tbh i.e hulk can get packaged why not strong guy as stand-alone figure the same with Sauron

Sauron would require all new parts, I don't see him being used as a buck figure for anyone else either. I'm thinking the wings could be BAF parts on their own. Honestly I don't think we'll get a Sauron unless it is a BAF, ever. Strong Guy possibly though.

Now, as much as I want Sauron, the only BAF that would make me even happier would be an Astral Shadow King. Ideally with switchable heads from his "monster" head to the armored head.

I really do hope it's not Apocalypse though. But if it is, well, it will save me money.....I'll get some revamps depending on what they are but I'm sure if I'm not buying the entire wave there would be some I'd pass up. Unless it's all fantastic. Which is possible....

OMG I just had a thought. The guy that was quoted said "green is his favorite color" or something like that. Sauron is green. This needs to happen, dammit.

warmachine6 11-05-2015 09:56 AM

Thinking more about it , Apocalypse does seem likely to me. A different character like jubilee from the last x-related wave i think was tied with the movie kind of i guess. We're getting 2 x-related BAFs 1 which is onslaught and the other an unkown one.
They could do Mephistopheles[mephisto] which i think was recent .
A juggernaut might be interesting though they have said something exciting which gives us fans and them a difference in definition to the word

I am about to start working on a custom Sauron. I haven't yet because I am specifically waiting to see what this BAF is.

I'm thinking it could be Apocalypse. Maybe they'll do a full on Age of Apocalypse Apocalypse. That would be different (and I would love it, AoA is one of my favorite X-Men stories). A new Juggernaut would be interesting, they could do a Colossus version too. Maybe they'll get really weird and do a Living Monolith or something.

I'm just waiting for them to do something terrible and give us the same Onslaught parts from the Cap wave. "Hey look, it's Onslaught! We faked you out with that Rouge part!"
I'd be pissed.

What about a deadpool in the X-men wave since that movie is coming out also. And seriously we need a legit Cable. Here's my guess for the wave.

Rogue
Deadpool
Skullbuster (wild obscure character guess)
Polaris
Havok
Gambit
Wolverine (just cause hasbro says he has to be in all waves
BAF - Sauron

You would definitely not be the only one. A move like that would seriously make me consider future investments in the line, outside of a most wanted figure or two. That would just be....beyond crappy.

As for your custom Sauron, I don't blame you for holding off. While I do think there is a high probability it's Apocalypse (as much as I don't want it to be) I think Sauron is actually a fairly safe bet if it's NOT Apocalypse. And given the unique tooling you'd have to do....yeah I can see waiting.

warmachine6 11-05-2015 10:09 AM

I think and we know they will give us a wolverine figure it should be AOA one, same mold just 1 different hand or a swap-pable hand even like fore arm piece
EDIT- Sauron feels to me like a falcon figure just with elongated wings they could do what they did with spider-woman im not sure if hes likes meant to be 7inchs tall or whatever but think thats the safe bet, if they approached it like that cant see him being a BAF for a while let alone another x-men wave after this one though this one better be a game changer, they must have enough money by now to risk obscure villians i.e cottonmouth and scrounge [spelling] {i had to google characters to find out whom is whom} so i guess sauron isn't out of the question

OML wolverine if any Wolverine I'm thinking. And yeah that's a solid line up. It checks off a lot of the boxes. Several revamps, only 2 female characters, one villain (which would likely be male as Selene and Goblin QUeen are the only females villains left, and we've discussed why they would be unlikely.) Personally I'd prefer something besides Skullbuster but it wouldn't take much to make him from Crossbones I'm guessing.

Something to add, as I realized there are several other female villains left, what if they surprised us with a Callisto, Cassandra Nova or Deathbird? I don't see any of them being likely but it's possible I suppose. Yet on the otherhand, if we are only going to get two females (which seems most likely) I don't want the second one to be anyone but Polaris. I do want a Moonstar badly but I would sacrifice Dani for Lorna.

Calisto or Deathbird would be awesome for sure. That's a tough call on the Dani or Lorna. A Moonstar in her Mutant Liberation Front outfit would be sick.

How about this for shits and giggles. We get a Moostar and the BAF is Brightwind.

I guess the people who collect both Marvel and MLP would be pleased..... :p

Phantomcrow 11-05-2015 11:41 AM

I remember they showed a Lilandra prototype a few years back. I wonder if they might do a Lilandra/Deathbird pair??? Since the ladies seem to always be in pairs.

Maybe a Calisto and Mohawk Storm combo pair. It would be super awesome if Storm could come with Artie and Calisto could come with Leech mini figures. Like the size of the old Franklin Richards toy biz figure or even Howard the Duck. I don't even need them poseable.

Also I would like a nice Silver Samurai at some point.
I would be mad if they did a AoA Apocalypse because I would demand they make a whole line from AoA. I want Blink and X-Man and Cyclops and Sinister and Dark Beast.

I want a Polaris, but I want 90's X-factor version. Along with Havok, Multiple man, and Wolfsbane, and Strong Guy. This group SCREAMS to be a new SDCC box set!!!

Or if they made the ULTIMATE SDCC BOX SET...... Apocalypse and his 4 Horsemen. Sadly I would want Horses, but a 5 pack with the horsemen would be epic. I would love a classic set with Death Archangel, but I would almost want a newer set from Blood of Apocalypse with Death Gambit, Famine Sunfire, Pestilence Polaris and The new guy who was War.

Also if they have to do a Wolverine figure MY number 1 want is Wolverine as Death Horsemen. You could even include an alternate shrouded head. Second choice is Patch Logan in black tank top with eye patch Or Possoble a Logan in white suit from the Madrapor days.

Every store around here has an end of aisle display full of Avengers 3 packs, the TMNT 5 pack, the WWE 4 horsemen pack and a few other things.

Strange, I tried to look for the pack on the Target website and it is gone. IF you can find the SKU (I can post a shot of the barcode if you need it) then they can check the DCPI in store and tell you any stores in the area that have it. Or if you get the dcpi you can look yourself on brickseek.

EDIT: Found the numbers.
DCPI - 087-06-1200

Marvel Avengers Target Exclusive Legends 3-Pack ... : Target

Target Inventory Checker

Go to brickseek (the link that says target inventory checker) and plug in the dcpi and your area code an you can see who has them in stock and how many.

Nice, seems there's still some here at my Target, may check it out later.

I'm not 100% sure but I think this may be the more common of the two. I was looking for the Red/Blue version for a long time and the Black one just seemed more available and cheaper. Could just be demand also.

More great ideas for two packs. VS type things like they did a while back.

Spyne98 11-05-2015 12:37 PM

They could easily use the Chameleon body for a suited version of Patch Wolverine. You made a good point there PhantomCrow. Although I think Old Man Logan and/or X-23 in her new Wolverine costume would be picked over Patch.

There's no way they can keep the "two females per wave" limit with this X-Men wave, surely. 50% of the X-Men's most popular and most famous characters are women, so it's illogical to pass on them (we hope). Agh, a Cassandra Nova or Callisto figure would be top notch, Call especially. Deathbird, too.

Plus, you know, Hellfire Emma Frost, Selene, Madelyne Pryor, Mastermind (Regan), an updated Lady Deathstrike, and then you have Emplate, Sebastian Shaw, Bastion, William Stryker, and most importantly... Janitor Toad. Make it happen, Hasbro!

A thousand times yes! While we're on the discussion of the BAF... Warlock, perhaps? That would be great.

Probably back then but now seems like they're both pretty rare. Just like the Cannoball/Domino one which I do have :) I should went for the Cable/Jean Grey one too at the time.

I swear if they pull a whole line from any characters that were introduced and were prominent in the Wolverine & The X-Men series I will throw up a little in my mouth everytime someone brings them up.

Because we need ML versions of Eye-Boy, SHark Girl and the Hellfire kids soo much.

Kid Apocalypse will be the BAF. We will also get Nature Girl and and...I don't even know. It's funny you mention Kid Gladiator because while I couldn't stand him, I actually felt Warbird was one of the first characters introduced in the last 10 years or so (since the New X-Men run with X-23, Hellion, Dust etc) that I've liked.

Shark Girl and Eye Boy... For someone who is doing tremendous work at Marvel, I don't know what Jason Aaron was thinking (or smoking) when he thought up those two.

I agree, although most of that fondness comes from Majorie Liu's run on Astonishing X-Men. How about a Goldballs figure with ball accessories? ... No-one?
