My local store had some of the King Shark wave reduced as the packaged was all broken, picked up another Batgirl as the leg joints on my one seem weak and I'm scared it will break at some point!
|
Got some duplicates to get rid of if anybody's interested, shoot me a PM if any of these interest ya :D

Zero Year Batman V1 and V2 Side by Side. Left is V1. Which Version do you lean towards as your Fav. Choice?

^^^
i like both..but i want the buckles/straps and pouches from ver2. on ver. 1 |
Both look good but I'd go with V.1, simply because he doesn't use the Ultimate Captain America legs that I can't stand :D I think DCUC legs have the most aesthetically pleasing joints of any of my figures, besides some specialty market stuff.

My Walmart finally got in the King Shark wave and thanks to every other Multiverse figure not selling they were also priced as clearance at $16! The only figure I wanted from this wave initially was Joker (who I just wound up ordering online back in April) but I sort of figured if I ever found Batgirl I'd probably get her too and last night I did. Still bothered by Mattel's refusal to enter the modern era of articulation but that's to be expected. I am confused though as to why they bothered giving this figure a swivel at the bicep if they were also gonna give it a swivel and hinge at the elbow, it seems like just the swivel bicep and elbow hinge would've been easier or maybe just the swivel-hinge elbow. Of course being Mattel there is some paint smudging on her mask but it's not terrible. I know it's asking too much of Mattel but maybe the screen side of the phone could've been painted a light blue or even white just to make it a little more phone-like. My only other paint note is that I feel like her hair should have more of a red-orange color than it does. Still a cool toy of a cool costume for a cool character, I may have gotten the Icons version over this except that I don't care about the bike and the extra space it takes up plus how much more expensive that bike makes the Icons version. |

Shameless plug but I'm clearing out my DCUC dupes and I've got 'em all priced at 10 bucks each, even the collect and connects!

Sigh, I wish I had kept my Mattel figures. :-(
|
So Mattel has shown off three new figures, Rebirth WW, Simon Baz, and Ray. And to my amazement, they all have double jointed knees (not arms though), wrist hinges, and possibly ankle pivots/rockers. WHy they never even showed these off at the show is beyond me.
