Captain Morgan 06-01-2024 05:41 PM

It looks more detailed than the Flash Batwing however it looks smaller.

They are doing an RC Tumbler as well

JkrSmkrMdntTkr 06-11-2024 06:15 AM

Anyone else manage to preorder the '89 Batwing set from Amazon? It came and went pretty quickly.

I'm hoping that was just a test for the webpage & it will go up normally later.

Madame Warlock 06-24-2024 07:29 PM

Is this line fizzling out too? I guess the lack of movies for the next while isn't going to help. I wouldn't have minded them doing My Adventures with Superman toys or something at least just so there's something new out there.

Specter 06-24-2024 10:34 PM

The new comic Batman looks so much better I wish they'd remake everything in line with it

I dont think so,
85th Anniversary stuff

and at least new sculpt comic Batman and Clayface are about to hit

DC general line might be though

snake5289 06-25-2024 12:15 AM

Wow. Not that they were bad but those are a huge step up from the original releases.

That Clayface is sick as hell, I'm more interested in the general line than Batman though I think since it feels like they've made nearly everyone I see them making now. I'd kill for an Orphan or Huntress though

Its still surprising they are making a completely new Batfleck
https://www.toyark.com/forums/attach...6&d=1719379058
Bale makes sense as he's probably the most recognized and popular to do for an anniversary

Returns Keaton can potentially be reuse

Some of the selection has me curious though
Ledger Joker in the 12 inch line but not in 4"?

89 Batwing in 4" and RC Tumbler near that scale
What does Spin Master absolutely love doing in the mainline
bikes and ATV type vehicles...
I can see them doing a Batpod vs Ledger Joker set later this year

Kinda surprised they didn't do a new Pattinson Batman in the new scale

God I wish we had gotten a Gal Wonder Woman or Henry Superman.

I kinda wish the 85th line would merge into the mainline, like just do BTAS Batman or Beyond or Arkham versions in that line,
we get a million versions anyway.

At least Spin Master has the rights through 2026, so unless Spinmaster destroys scale again we should get
Superman
Hawkgirl
Mister Terrific
Guy Gardener
Metamorpho
Engineer
Lex
Rick Flag Sr(maybe)
Ultraman
Supergirl

Maybe Green Lanterns from the tv series since its connected to the movies

Same 2 I really want

Autobot_Goldbug 06-26-2024 12:31 AM

it looks like Robin & Nightwing got worse though

Nightwing definitely but I think the new sculpts are better scale

Think I'd buy an extra Robin and change that Nightwing head though

Edit: better images of the new figures

Specter 06-28-2024 10:01 PM

Apparently a new Batmobile is showing up in the Philippines as well

snake5289 06-29-2024 08:57 AM

The Nightmare Batman (not sure what else to call it) and new Joker are looking great.

Specter 06-30-2024 12:46 AM

I really hope the new Batfleck is a bit taller than the Flash version,
Closer to Aquaman and Shazam

Well if they're doing all the previous Batman movies then maybe there's still hope to get a Cavill Superman.

I'm gonna guess and say that the chances for an 89 Joker are pretty slim yeah? Maybe we'll at least get a Returns Penguin and Catwoman though. I'd even be happy if they branch out into the Schumacher movies. I still get a kick out of watching those.

And ditto on a Reeve Superman and the DCEU. I'll take anything from those movies.

They are just doing these for Batman's 85th anniversary however..

89 Joker i'd think is very unlikely with likeness rights, he's always had issues with it
Catwoman an Penguin id say are stretches
Imagine if they did Penguin and the duck vehicle though as a $25ish set

Schumacher movies I'd think are too niche outside of just figures
not even Batman though i'd easy buy both Robins
I said it isn't likely but B&R Robin with
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/ba...20240115011203
would be sweet
Id also buy Batgirl, Riddler and Freeze
If I got a wish for a big vehicle from BF/B&R I'd go with the Batboat, always liked it and it wouldn't be yet another Batmobile or a 3rd Batwing

I 100% think a Batpod set is coming, i'd almost guarantee it. With 12' Ledger Joker, RC Tumbler and a 4' Bale Batman.and the fact the small vehicle multipacks are Spinmaster's bread and butter...
4' Bale Batman w Batpod vs Ledger Joker
Boy its nice to finally get an update to this Batman after 16 years, i wonder if the TDKR ninja Bruce head will fit

Now we get to Snyder and the least likely but fun options based on Spinmaster skus
4' Batfleck vs Henry Superman..
4' Batfleck & Superman vs Doomsday
4' Batfleck & Superman & Wonder Woman vs Doomsday
4' Batfleck vs Joker w lambo(and maybe Harley)
4' Batfleck & Wonder Woman vs Humvee
4' Batfleck vs Will Deadshot & Harley

I think the other Batfleck vehicle are off the board unless Spinmaster wants to rerelease the BvS RC stuff in 85th packaging.
Just a lot of investment for something they absolutely knew was dead and being replaced during development.

I wish they's do a new 4' Pattinson in the new scale, go ahead and get a jump on it because they will still have the license for The Batman 2 in 2026.
hell maybe do the Riddler as well since its more a collector thing than the kids mainline.

snake5289 06-30-2024 05:59 PM

With Caped Crusader coming in about a month it'd be cool to get a Golden Age Batman figure.

Specter 06-30-2024 07:40 PM

I wish I had bought more Mera on clearance,
think I want to try making a "movie" Catwoman with one.

Wish they'd do stuff like that, BTAS, etc in the comic line

That new Batman would be a perfect base for Arkham Batman.

Specter 07-02-2024 01:00 AM

Its funny ive 3d printed so many accessories for my Star Wars figures but haven't for my DC figures,
I was 3d printing a Catwoman head today that was small enough for Mera's body and I was like why not print some grapple guns.

Begins version is my favorite so I find the model onlne and print 4 in slightly different sizes to narrow it in.

Don't know if it's the same one but I just saw one listed on Amazon that turns into a Batcave for 59.99. Comes with the Zero Year looking Batman.

There is that one but there another that turned out to be a 12inch that looks more like a 6' scale

snake5289 07-03-2024 02:44 PM

Yeah that looks a little small compared to the Batman next to it.

Specter 07-04-2024 09:45 PM
