pops? you made me cringe. hate pops.

Zorn88 08-09-2017 09:23 PM

Honestly, my collecting habits have migrated severely into Pops lately. Action figure collecting just isn't fun anymore because of the shitty distribution and my lack of interest in characters that have been released.

I can actually find Funko Pops when I go to a store! It's mind blowing!!

PanicPuppet92 08-09-2017 09:44 PM

I'm probably one of the few who likes the idea of the Multiverse BvS Grapnel Gun BAF.

Why does it seem like Wonder Woman's piece is so scarce? I can find most if not all the other pieces no problem. Odd...

I'd love to get it, but DC needs to prove to me they are going to actually support the line first. If it is still around with plenty of figures to choose from come the end of 2019/early 2020, then I'll probably hunt down some of the earlier figures.

I thought the Icons figure was a perfect classic Deathstroke. I really don't like the new design, the left arm is the big deal-breaker and the rest of it kinda feels too streamlined and plain.

I don't care. Why should I start another new DC line without any proof DCC is actually going to commit to the line?

Besides, the Icons one was superior for being his first appearance look. I'm just happy I never spent the money to buy it now though.

you got a point about starting a new line but i just like this updated version better than the first appearance. im a Deathstroke fan but i dont know, the first appearance just looks alittle weird with that gold necklace and 'orange' grenades? lol

Dc really kinda murdered deathstroke with this new holy avenger schlock they got him doin right now. Ugh.

warmachine6 08-10-2017 11:17 AM

Out of the new DC essentials line i think i will get the flash and hal jordan GL , They might even make a 7 JL pack. Icons didnt seem to last long, figures got cancelled. Im hoping those 2 make it out. i will get more if they do more classic figures till new 52 , recent designs have been vile.

Dr Kain 08-10-2017 05:45 PM

At least the REbirth designs are vastly superior to the New 52 ones. In fact, I really like the Rebirth WW and Aquaman.

If I remember correctly, when the BvS figures were coming out WW was never repacked. I think Sups and Bats got repacked when the Lex and Creature got released so they took the spot in the box that WW had.

donmeca2020 08-10-2017 08:26 PM

I gotta say, with the new mutliverse 6 inch line, i've been pleasantly suprised with the characters that they're releasing for the line. the last 2 BAF figures were also tempting. new 52 doomsday and i'm kinda digging King shark.

the clayface wave looks like something i wouldn't possibly mind buying all together.

Dr Kain 08-10-2017 09:18 PM

I really like the Clayface, but most of the figures that come with his parts hold no interest to me.

I really do prefer the Rebirth designs, and am glad we're getting them. Minimal-to-no pointless lines all over the body, in general streamlining and simplifying. I'm not incredibly fond of Superman's first Rebirth costume (the one we're getting a figure of), but his second one (introduced early this year IIRC) is outstanding, and is IMO the best "modern"/trunksless version of the Superman costume, as it basically is his classic costume except for not having trunks, and even then, the belt he has is designed to maintain as much of the color and shape the trunks provided as possible for being a belt, and (very importantly) has a yellow buckle to retain the yellow of the old belt. I have to imagine we'll get a figure of it sometime.

The Lex (both normal & prison) and Creatures have been clogging up my local stores shelves for months now!

Been grabbing up the 6in (kids line) Parademon. Have 2 with a few more on their way- great filler figure at $10. Can't wait to have them swarming around Steppenwolf... (sorry no pics- haven't found another pic hosting site I like yet)

Wendigo5326 08-13-2017 12:25 AM

Hey, looking for Steppenwolf's waist, right arm & leg.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
