Also decided to paint some of the armored parts black and after looking closer I never noticed how much this suit looks a little like the Arkham Origins suit. That's cool.

Everyone online seemed to hate that suit but I liked it because it had an Origins vibe which is my favorite Batsuit by far

snake5289 08-11-2024 12:10 PM

Agreed

Finally found Clayface at Target yesterday. Where are you guys finding John Stewart and Bane? I haven't seen them anywhere yet.

Bane were west coast,
GL was North east and Canada

From what I've seen

snake5289 08-11-2024 07:22 PM

Man I need to start making more trips to Target.

Madame Warlock 08-13-2024 04:45 PM

Clayface is great, was a pleasant surprise as I didn't even know he was coming out. Need to find Bane and John Stewart, not holding my breath for the latter though.

snake5289 08-13-2024 06:46 PM

I never saw the original GL so I'm definitely not expecting to see the new one.

Captain Morgan 08-14-2024 05:06 PM

What does the new Bane and GL look like?

JkrSmkrMdntTkr 08-14-2024 07:59 PM

Got 85th '89 Batwing in from Amazon today. It's pretty awesome and downright excellent for $20. I'd say it's a steal. It's very much a toy (as opposed to a "collectable"), about the same size as the Flash movie Batwing and looks good next to it. In case you were wondering, it does have landing gears, and they're the non-turning wheels-type like the Flash movie Batwing, but unlike the latter, the wings are "hollow" on the underside and flimsier. They're not really flimsy, and don't droop or wiggle about, but they're not as sturdy. It's totally acceptable for a $20 toy though.

snake5289 08-14-2024 10:55 PM

Happy to hear you like it but I'm good with the Flash version. I would like some more Batmobiles though. Specifically Dawn of Justice, BTAS, and Arkham Asylum.

Yeah, I like 'em both quite a bit, but the '89 is actually surprisingly well detailed and hits hard in the nostalgia-cool department. I'm all for more 1:18 scale Batmobiles too. I think you can still preorder the Mezco 5Points TAS Batmobile from places like BBTS and EE.

Mezco is doing the BTAS Batmobile in 3.75, hoping it fits.
its great they made it a 2 seater

Really wish someone would do the Classic Arkham Batmobile

snake5289 08-15-2024 11:40 AM

Yeah that's the one. I've got the Hot Wheels of it but I'd like one that's big enough to actually fit figures. Of all the Batmobiles it might be my favorite but that's such a tough decision. There's so many good ones.

Its my favorite in that its kind of an all around, a comic Batman could go with it or a big chunky armor Origins Batman could go with it.
Batfleck could go with, meanwhile so many others are so specific to their aesthetic they don't crossover.

Kinda hope Mezco eventually gets to the TNBA Batmobile, i tracked down the old RC one that fits a 5' figure but its too small.

Autobot_Goldbug 08-15-2024 06:43 PM

oh yes I would also like an Arkham Batmobile
for some reason your image Specter seems off somehow

snake5289 08-16-2024 04:10 PM

Popped into Target and to my absolute surprise I picked up a Rises Bane. Also did not expect it to ring up 6.99 so that was a nice bonus.

Plus I found a couple of Hot Wheels Batmobiles to add to my small collection which brings me up to 7 now.

slim19722 08-16-2024 05:40 PM

I got a 2nd set of the Arkham model kits this time from Aliexpress and got the gold Batman chase with this set.

Also finally found the new Clayface at Walmart.

Thanks!
I do like the angular design of the Flash(let's be honest it was a Batman movie all along) version more.

snake5289 08-18-2024 11:03 AM

Well for at least half of it anyway.

I made peace before the movie even came out that they didn't go full Flashpoint and bring Jeffrey Dean Morgan back as Thomas Wayne/Batman and have him meeting Batfleck but they could have done at least one scene with Batfleck and Keaton together. I mean come on that alone would have made the budget back.

Looks great to me especially considering she was too tall for most of those Batman figures

I found them on AliExpress for less than $7/each (except for the gold Batman, must be a chase). Took maybe 10 days to arrive. But different retailers on there have them for varying prices, you have to look around.

Honestly hope they do a few more sets besides Knight suits
or at least Batgirl, Catwoman, etc

Some go up on Ebay, also the other typical online Chinese retailers.
Just got to find a good deal on them, apparently in China they are like $4.99 usd each at retail.

So I bought these from a seller on Ali back when these posts were made, almost a month ago now. They finally shipped them out but are now marked as "delivered" in Thailand. At first I thought this was like a waystop before being shipped out to the US but the shipper won't respond to me, DHL says they can't track it because my name's not on the shipment, and the tracking doesn't have any additional updates or anything saying it's being sent out of country again.

I think I got rooked.

You should be able to get a full refund if you used AliExpress. Sorry man, that sucks!

Dang, I ordered a 2nd set, this time from Ali, and I got them within 10 days.
