Not gonna lie that's looking pretty bad.

Go read Action Comics #1, Superman didn't have red boots in the comic despite the cover depiction.

I stand corrected (thanks DC Universe Infinite Ultra and Zigerlion). Don't think I ever actually read that book, just saw the cover over and over.

That being said, I dunno if there are any boots actually depicted in there, so just coloring existing mold boots blue seems cheapo, especially for a supposed collector edition.

I do however dig the paint attention overall, including the skin. Hopefully the line puts out some good stuff over time, has potential.

Mezco 5 Points Fleischer Cartoon Superman Figure

This is one situation where I think Mezco got it just right. There is definitely such a thing as too much detail and too much articulation.

The Mezco 5 points is a nice novelty for 3.75" figure especially at that size with the accessories/diorama, but I'd rather have a fully-articulated Fleischer Superman to go with my Multiverse stuff.

Anyone else get annoyed by lack of hands for doomsday or big figures in general ? I was tempted by doomsday but then noticed , I can't have two grabbing or fisted hands to swap out.
