Which version of the Baron? I'm thinking the version from the early issues of the Thunderbolts.

I think the Taskmaster body is great place to start. i still really like the Black Panther idea for the head. I have never worked with Apoxie sculpt is it difficult?

His upper torso has his pecks and two abs, and the lower body has the other 4 abs. Is that the one you meant? I still think its cool, but that character has really grown on me so I'm kind of biased.

Went on a toy hunt today and found nuthin new, I guess thats good, gave my wallet a break. But picked up wonderwoman and supergirl.

So.... you're saying he should have been portrayed as more of a tall, powerful black man that can kick Captain America's ass in hand-to-hand combat? Ok, that's understandable.

It still uses that old Daredevil buck- and the Steve Rogers buck s 1000% better.
Really, a few pages back someone posted comparison pics of the old DD and the new comic pack version and...it's an amazing improvment that would look just as great on BP.

Plus.. thee's scale creep- the new figs like Steve and DD are closer to 4" tall- making T'Challa's ostioperosis pretty noticable.

Ok, to me anyways. The newest highly articulated mold SCREAMS for a Black Panther. Any mold works, but I think DD being so dark and a solid colour would be easiest.

And yes, this picture is blurry as hell, but it is just for a height comparison. Panther is 6'0 and Cage is 6'6. So, to me anyways. This is close enough =3.

I see what you guys mean. The original head with an updated body and the accessories from the Target 2-pack (staff and cape) would look great.

UPDATE: T'Challa's head uses that damn big ball attachment- fixing that is such a pain!
The head wont stay on the new peg if you dont though...grrr!

I just used a piece of tape for the picture. For future custom, I will be making the joint bigger or hole smaller.

I have a couple of the 2-packs, but one is a Christmas gift for a friend. If someone really wants the other, I can hook you up I guess. You gotta buy the set though, because I've given away enough random Iron Man figures to last a lifetime, and Toy for Tots doesn't take open toys.
